WORX WG720 12 Amp 19" Electric Lawn Mower

Horrible. Would not initially start and then, when it finally did, ran only twice and then died.

Product and delivery excellent back to me. Couldn't be more satisfied.

Best purchase ever!

Previous model had a flaw in design - when you lower the blade, it lowers just the front wheels. In soft ground it causes the blade to dive into the ground and damage the mower. Once I started using the WG720, I could feel the improvement because it's making consistent cuts in low and high settings. They also said goodbye to the front wheels with 360 degrees freedom that I found more confusing then helping. It's now more maneuverable and more logical to operate. The motor is strong and I was able to cut 6" grass down to the lowest setting even though it was morning hours and the thick grass was still wet from night dew. This is my fifth electric corded mower and I have three properties so I have enough experience to tell you this mower is as strong as the gas one. It;s maintenance free because of the aluminum housing and no need to do anything when stored for the winter. It takes short time to get used to the 100' cord but after almost ten years with these mowers I didn't cut any cord yet...

June 2016Has plenty of power and well designed.My only minor complaint is some clippings come over the bag and directly toward the operator.That is per my first and only time using it, so far.Next time I'll use a bit of duct tape to effect a temporary seal.Update Aug 22,2016Duct tape didn't work - can you believe it?I REALLY like this mower. Has more power than the previous one I had even though it draws an amp less.Also, I sprayed the inside of the cutting deck with dry teflon and grass cuttings don't stick.If your budget allows, spend the extra for the Worx WG719. It has caster wheels on the front allowing easier turning.The sponge rubber handle cover is likely to wear. Had that issue with the previous mower, also.Should either/both make it more durable or include an extra one with the mower.

Very pleased. Quiet, light, easy to operate, solid and sturdy build.Only issue is operator needs some skill to pay attention to the engine sound, if feel grass too sturdy and engine hard to run, need to raise the wheel a little bit, or it might burn engine.
