I purchased this product for my mother as her neighbour brunches are growing in her garden and I decided to cut the tree down. I am cutting it bit by it, this is my first time using this product.Read and follow manufacturer's instructions and wear protective clothing. And do not rush, have some patients when using this product for the first time. The sliver pole with the two holes it is slightly bent so when you attached it to the red prune showen in my photo.Some of the men in our family are lazy they should be cutting this big tall tree. But at least I have a bit of new knowledge now when it comes to cutting trees.I will update you when I finish cutting my mother's neighbour brunches and my mothers tree.Fast delivery and secure packaging.

The screws wing nuts and washers provided seem a little fragile. The two smaller screws worked loose very quickly after a short period of use, and I had to procure a more substantial nut to keep the parts in place. Also I'm not confident about the cord lasting too long before becoming frayed. It would be useful to ask the seller if they can supply replacement cords for when the original one becomes ineffective.

I put this together in ten minutes and was straight out in the garden. I used the lopper to chop off some smallish branches (about 1.5cm) and then cut off some bigger ones with the saw. Ones near the trunk were fairly easy to saw off but farther along the branch it was harder, with the branch moving with the saw. However, once I got the rhythm it was okay. Great bit of kit for the price!!!

I bought this tree lopper as an add on to my extendable chainsaw. my chainsaw is really good but extremely heavy. I bought the lopper to aid with the smaller branches that are very high up. the first time I tried to use the loppers, I pulled the rope as hard as I could , but it never even made a dent in the very thin branch. to be fair, the branch may have been too thick for the lopper, but as it was so high up it was difficult to tell the thickness of the branch. I thought, not a problem I would use the hand saw attachment. all this did was flex the pole and the branch, causing them both to sway in time with the sawing action. neither of which did me or the tree any good. I would have been better off just using the chainsaw and hoping that the sudden drop of the branch did not put immense strain on my back. in my opinion do not waste your money.

I haven’t been able to use it yet as I can’t secure the cutting part to the end pole as the holes for the bolts don’t line up. I’m waiting until a friend can drill out the hole for me. I like the way you can add or subtract sections, much easier for storage.

Four stars just because the rope isn’t strong enough to continuous cutting. I have a stupidly large extra tree growing everywhere and this has really knocked it back in the 3 hours I have been doing it. Had to tie rope together as it burnt down quickly but the actual cutting was bloody brilliant really strong grip and sharp cutting.Really easy to set up aswell and easy to put down
