Great value dual voltage pump.
As delivered you can run it off of a regular 120V outlet, or re-wire it for 240V.

Quiet and efficient
When my existing 1hp pump brains went, I looked at so many possible replacement pumps and was drawn to this pump because on the variable speed capability and reviewed saying how quit it was. The low price made me a bit skeptical that it could deliver compared to other pumps with similar capabilities but at much higher prices. When it arrived, v it was will packed and HEAVY. It was easy to swap out as it included a number of adaptors. It is indeed very quiet and I can't hear it from my back porch. The Billy in time and outstanding modes are a plus, but the directions are difficult to follow in my opinion. I still haven't gotten it quite right. Another issue is that the Eco speed is almost worthless because it just doesn't move enough water to make a difference. The middle speed runs at about 2,850 RPMs and that's where I tend to keep it. The upper speed is great after shocking and if I need to clean some debris after a storm but I don't tend to keep it there because it's obviously not as electric efficient. One issue is that it has no ability to create a timing schedule to have it run and then shut it off entirely for a period of time. You would have to manually turn it off to achieve that. As such. I took one star off for that. Other than that, I'm very happy with this pump and we'll see how well it functions into next year.

Great Option
This pump is far less expensive than name brands and so far is working extremely well. The variable speeds and adjustable timer makes it a certain energy saver. This pump is also far quieter than the original Hayward pump that came with the pool at a fraction of the cost.

Nice piece of equipment
This pump works well and was an easy swap from the broken one that we replaced with it.It is self priming which is a nice touch rather than having to stand there bleeding the filter housing to make sure that the air is out of the system. It is a duel pump, meaning it can be running 110 or can be run in a 220 hookup.Theses nice pump.

This pump falls just short of being really good.
This pump is running my 15'X30' pool just fine. It replaced a Hayward Powerflo Matrix 1 hp that was an energy hog. First, I'm not sure why this is listed as only 230V; it comes with a 120V cord attached, and if you open the electrical box, inside it is listed as dual voltage. I have it running on 120V and it works fine. Second, it's not even close to 1.5hp. My old 1hp single speed pump pulled 1.1kW; this pump only pulls 825W at max speed. Third, the manual is written in laughably bad English, but the info you need is in there. Fourth, just throw away the unions this thing ships with; they bottom out in the housing and they don't have o-rings so they aren't going to seal. Last, this pump has 3 programmable speeds: Eco goes up to 2400 RPM, Clean goes from 2400-2850 RPM, and Boost goes from 2850-3450 RPM. However, when programming the run schedule, you can only choose between the speeds you have stored in Eco and Clean. So, you can never get any speed above 2850 RPM in your schedule.

Good Powerful Pump that is a Perfect Replacement for my Old Pump
I got this 1.5 HP Pool pump to replace my 3/4 HP pump that only has 1 setting.I have had it running for a month on just the basic settings to match my current pump and I feel like it is running just as good, the electric bill has been lower, and in the spring when I reopen the pool, I am prepared to get it wired in directly so I can power it off at the fuse vs unplugging it.Overall this pump has great possibilities to not only work better but also cost less than our current pool pump.

High power, good controls, bad directions
So far so good with this pool pump. It seems to be close to specs, just from eyeing the volume moving through it. I love the skimmer basket design, allowing clear view of flow amd debris, having easy access for cleaning out. Install is relatively straightforward (once you work through the paperwork) and it runs pretty quiet. It is large, but definitely smaller than some. I am pretty impressed for the capabilities at a fraction of the cost of others. Worth it to me.

Great pump for above ground pools
We have a pool we only set up in the summer, it's high quality but it's not a permanent fixture in our yard. This lightweight and easy to hook up pool pump was a great solution. It could not be easier to use, there's no fiddling with weird hoses and solving physics problems to get it going since it self primes. Plug it in, stick in the tube, and let it work. Really high quality and reasonably priced.
