Excellent value telly with smooth operating system
Upgrading from a tesco technika android telly that from day one had been frustratingly slow, this, four years later, only cost £15 more than the technika, runs very quickly on the Linux-based vidaa operating system and has a notably bigger, better screen.Built-in speakers have good volume for a bedroom and pictire/sound quality are very good indeed for this price point.Setting it up was easy - every app we added had a qr code to scan for ease of signing in, rather than having to type on an on-screen keyboard. For wall mounting, it is of note that it requires a 100w x 200d vesa bracket, which I hadn't come across before. This review is based upon a replacement - the first unit received unfortunately had a cracked lcd in a corner - replacement was here within 3 days of reporting it.Niggles are minimal so far - there are a lot of bloat ware apps pre-installed that you have to hide - the on-screen message suggests that uninstall is possible, but I think Tht is 9nly for user-added apps.Additionally, the included remote has specific buttons for (Lassard voice) many, many apps. Those buttons aren't customisable out of the box, (to, for example, have the button with the disney+ logo instead open iplayer) although I am led to believe that there is a remote button mapper app available for download - I am tempted to disable half of them to avoid accidental button presses in the dark opening something when grabbing the remote, or, if possible, to map a shortcut to the sleep timer to a button, as that is somewhat buried in the system settings otherwise.Other than that, not much to report yet - an excellent value telly with no deal breakers in the shortcomings - I presume the price of the unit is subsidised somewhat in exchange for the remote buttons, and so I won't complain too much, particularly if I can make them do what I want them to with a bit of hacking!

Nice guest room tv
Bought this Hisense 32” QLED for a guest room and I’m genuinely impressed. The picture quality is excellent for the size—bright, sharp, and with rich colour thanks to the QLED panel. Sound is surprisingly decent too, and the Dolby Atmos support gives it a nice boost. Setup was quick and simple, and it comes with all the streaming apps ready to go—Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, etc. Great value for money, sleek design, and ideal for a second room or smaller space. Highly recommended.

Be careful where you use!
Very easy to set up and picture quality is superb. Wifi/ethernet connection allowed for extra channels etc.One issue we have experienced is the standby light illumination in the middle of the night - in the bedroom! Tried everything to cancel the same but reverted to pulling the plug. Does not appear to have a total swith it off function.

Nice TV shame about the agreements
TV is reasonably good quality (screen, sound etc). Legs a bit flimsy though. Set up is not that slick and you will need to sign your life (and privacy) away just to able to complete the set up and use it. The agreements are extremely unreasonable in my view and require divulging a significant amount of private information just to be able to watch TV. It is difficult to opt out of the many requests for private information. Avoid if you have any privacy concerns (which you probably should).

Goldilocks TV
Wanted a full HD TV that would fit on a swivel stand.Got this as it's 1080p (full HD) not bothered about 4k and i especially didn't want up trying to upscale the picture to guesstimate 4k.Didn't know this before I got it as you never see pictures of the back of the TV and it's connections - but all the inner workings are contained within the the area of the VESA mounting including the HDMI. Connections. If you think about this it's essential for a swivel TV to be like this as if the HDMI were at the edge/bottom of it, the cables would get in the way?40" is a nice size, smaller TV's aren't often full HD and the bigger ones mount the HDMI in places suitable for wall mounting. The speakers are good enough as they're in large chambers again as it's not aimed for wall mounting which requires it to be super thin. It's a QLED which puts image quality above viewing angle, which is going to always be straight on if on a swivel stand anyway. The app's on the proprietary OS are decent, not a massive selection, though it's got the usual BBC iplayer, Utube, netflix, paramount+, Disney+, Amazon prime.Excellent TV for my requirements, bluray discs look fantastic, but if you try a 4k disc it's having to downscale the images and you can tell just watching that the things aren't right, if you pause the picture it genuinely looks worse than a HD bluray so don't waste your money on those pricey discs!Love it!!

Not bad
Good TV for the price. Great quality. Wish it had Bluetooth like it said and doesn’t screen share with iPhone.
