All I use
I put a cover over my gas stove and just use 2 of these for cooking. Heats up quick, easy temperature adjustments, wipe off to clean.

So much better than a hot plate
I have been using this at least once a day for about 3 months now. I absolutely love it. It heats up quickly and maintains the set temperature. It doesn't heat up the kitchen like gas or electric burners. It's easy to clean and has several safety features. I definitely recommend it.

Great cook top.
I was replacing one I have had for a while and the power button button broke off. When this one came I loved it. Easy to clean surface and touch controller. I absolutely love it!

Works fine with our induction pans.
We've had an induction cook top for 5 years now and have grown to love it.This looked like an opportunity to use induction on our occasional camping excursions as well.On the max setting it took about seven minutes to start 2 quarts of water boiling, and 9 minutes to get to a hard boil - I thought pretty fast for a small unit like this.It is a bit noisy compared to our full size cook top but not obnoxious.Setting power level is easy - 200 to 1800 watts is a good range. There is a bunch of menu stuff for different settings - I found that mostly just confusing ... most folks I suspect will just simply use the power setting most of the time.

My first induction cooktop.
Portability and Design:This induction cooktop is compact, lightweight, and easy to transport, making it perfect for small kitchens, RVs, or even outdoor cooking (if there's power!). It fits neatly on countertops without taking up much space, and the sleek design complements modern kitchens. The controls are intuitive, with a smooth touch panel and LED display.Performance:It heats up incredibly fast compared to traditional electric stoves, bringing water to a boil in minutes. The precise temperature control helps when simmering soups or frying delicate ingredients. Whether you need a low simmer or a rapid boil, this unit handles it smoothly.Ease of Use:Operating the cooktop is straightforward—just plug it in, place an induction-compatible pot or pan, and set the desired temperature or power level. The unit responds quickly to changes, which gives a lot of control during cooking.Safety Features:The automatic shut-off feature is a great safety addition, especially when the cookware is removed. It also has overheating protection, making it safe for family use. Plus, the cool-to-the-touch surface minimizes the risk of burns.Versatility:This cooktop works anywhere with a power outlet, making it ideal for dorm rooms, office kitchens, and camping trips. It’s also great as an extra burner when hosting large dinners or during holidays.Things to Keep in Mind:You’ll need induction-compatible cookware (like stainless steel or cast iron), and it does make a low humming noise when in use, but this is typical of induction cookers. Conclusion:Overall, this single-burner induction cooktop offers excellent value for its price. With its portability, fast heating, and safety features, it’s an ideal addition to any kitchen setup, whether you need extra cooking space or a portable option for travel. Highly recommend it for those seeking convenience without compromising performance.

1800 Watts! Game Over...
The difference between 1800 watts (this unit) and most other induction cooktops that are only 1500 watts is night and day, especially if you're bringing a larger pot of water to a boil.Comes up to temperature much faster and maintains it for better control when cooking, especially if you're sauteing or trying to get a good sear on a steak or roast or achieve crispy skin on salmon. You can cook a huge pot of chili or stew with this whereas the 1500 watt units will never bring it up to temperature.I even brewed a 3-gallon batch of homebrew beer with the cooktop using an insulated jacket around my brew kettle to hold the heat in, so it's definitely a workhorse. All the regular features you need and nothing you don't.If you're comparison shopping, make sure you're looking at 1800 watts and you'll see what a great deal this is.Excellent price and fast shipping as well.

Great performance but loud fan
This cooktop has excellent performance and can boil a pot of water very quickly on max power, just as you would expect from induction. The cooking surface is quite large and can accommodate most pan sizes without issue. There are a variety of different presets, but these mainly just change the level of power output, but it's nice to not have to think about how many watts you feel like cooking with. The only issue I have is that the fan noise is quote loud and seems to only run on max speed, regardless of your cooking setting. In fact, the fan turns on whenever the device is on, regardless if you're actually cooking or not. It's good that the fan seems strong so as to prevent overheating the device, but a variable fan would've been much more preferable as a cranked up fan is intrusive if you're just looking to keep something warm.

Very useful cooktop
I use this mainly for tabletop cooking, like making shabu shabu, hotpot or types of food that need to be heated while eating. I think this single cooktop fits best for my needs. It is very well built, sturdy while sitting on the table top. Bottom stays cool so it doesn’t damage the tabletop beneath. Though the fan is a bit noisy when turned on, it also reminds you that there is something running. Cleaning is super easy and the induction surface is very safe so you don’t burn yourself like the element stove or butane flame stove. In short, this is super user friendly.

Good cooktop - simple enough to use
This is a good induction cooktop. Simple to control and use. It has different control modes. One is to set the power / wattage, one is to pick from preset cooking programs, and the third is to set the temperature to cook at. On a quick water boiling test, it worked out well enough. It is large enough to fit a 10” pan, so there is versatility in what I can use it for. Overall, this is a good cooktop.

Pretty powerfull 1700W (tested), the fan is on the loud side. Great for sizzling.
The cooking surface provides a maximum of 1700W on the presets, or 1630W in power mode. It is not exactly 1800, but it keeps the power even when the surface is hot. This is a good improvement over regular plate that reduce power when the surface gets hotter, thus limiting temperature. This one is great for sizzling, it made a great golden mark on my pork chops, and no preheating time was required. For me, this is important since I cook my meat in a sous-vide cooker and I want the final sizzling to be quick. The fan is on the loud side, there is no strange electronic noise like another plate I own, but the fan would be a bit loud for a fondue. The plate is ETL, which is one of the recognized certification for the Canadian Electrical Code. This ensures that an external body confirms the manufacturer makes the required steps to meet the current legislation and safety requirements.

More expensive, less function, noisy
This model is more expensive than competitors with few settings, less power. It's quite noisy compared to other model I tested. So for a similar price, you will have better for sure.Maybe is it more durable, longer life. But I haven't tested long enough to state about that. Knowing still that other models I tryed at school runs a lot for a while so I don't thing the price difference will be so synonym of durability
