This is not a great product, will be processing return
1. The clean water and dirty water are in the same tank so once the dirty tank gets full, it starts spilling over the clean water side giving you filthy water2. The taste of the water is awful. I thought it was just the beginning when you first try a new product. I tried this product for six weeks and the water remained awful throughout the entire time. I never ever leave negative reviews and give products a chance. But I also couldn’t try it past the return window since it’s been an awful product.3. Tank is way too small. The size they offer is semi standard, but with the 1:3 clean water to dirty water ratio, the tank fills up pretty quickly, especially since they are both in the same tank and are only separated by a divider which is nonexistent once the dirty water gets full . And again, it happens fast.Overall: I would not recommend this product to anybody. I actually got this on sale on prime day and I still feel like I got a horrible deal. I wouldn’t take this for free honestly. Because I’m getting terrible tasting water and it begs the question if the water is even being filtered in the first place.

Easy to set up
I have an aquasana countertop filter that I like and think delivers good tasting water. That one is just a carbon filter that is replaced every 6 months or so. I bought this purifier because of cost (amazon prime day), aesthetics in my new house and because I wanted to try one of these reverse osmosis purifiers. The set up is really easy. I did have to spend some time flushing initially - I think they recommend you flush 3 water tanks full initially, and the water doesn't come out the spout too quickly. I like how there's TDS readings, but I found it kind of confusing because it jumped all over the place - from 34 to 94, but then finally seems to hover around 7-10.I knocked it to 4 stars because initially, I thought the water had a funny taste compared to my aquasana. That has since disappeared, but I found it a little unnerving. Immediately I lost the chlorine smell of the water so that was at least reassuring that filtration was working. Now, I think it's pretty neat. The height of the spout Just about fits my sodastream carafe when I remove the drip tray. I love that you can get hot water instantly without having to boil a whole kettle. I don't have to refill it as much as my aquasana either. So overall, good buy and I don't think you'd go wrong. I've only had it a couple months so haven't changed the filter, but it seems easy. I'm happy with it and will continue enjoying to use it

E4 error after 4 months
My wife bought this one last July-24. After November it’s got a E4 error appears at the front panel. I’ve tried all different instructions there are in the manual and it does not work. It’s been taking 45 min to filter only 150 ml of water…. Sooo long time. Beside that, after 1hr is needed to plug off from the electricity in order the machine start “make” water again. Since January-25 I’ve been contacting by email the company but anyone answering. Amazon says it’s not eligible to return it and asked me to reach out the Icepure Company. So, in the end of the day, I’ve lost my money even they said warranty is 12 month. Its not worth!

I wanted to love this, but it didn't work
Yes. Yes, I read all of the other reviews. I knew what I was getting myself into with the much complained about start up cleaning and draining process, or so I thought.Sweet mother of all that is holy, what a pain in the caboose this was to fill, make water, unlock then choose fetching water, drain, and repeat ad-nauseum until you finally get a decent glass of water. Only one. Because after that, ALL of the water tasted like plastic and chemicals. 12 tanks later- chemicals. It smelled and tasted so much worse than the tap water I was trying to purify. I thought some of the other reviewers were being a bit over critical about the process, but when you have to waste so much water just to get ONE 250 ml glass of decent water the complaints are valid.I researched so many of these systems only to be deeply disappointed in the one I chose. There was also leakage that I didn't notice until packing the unit back into the box. Water was leaking from the oddest areas underneath the unit, after I had emptied the tank and drained the inner tank. When I removed the filter to check if something could be done to change the taste(like perhaps I received a used unit and the filter needed changing) I immediately smelled the same chemical smell but stronger than the smell that was emanating from my "purified" water.Seriously, I wanted to cry at how disappointing this entire situation had become. And I was really thirsty.I will say, the unit is not too difficult to use in concept... if it actually worked, but it doesn't. It's not overly large and looked good on my counter but it was awkward to replace the tank and if it was not perfectly situated, the sensors would not work to start the "making water" command.*sigh*I am returning it.
