This was pretty simple to build. All the pieces fit well together. I was surprised. The suction cups actually keep it sturdy even when 3 big cats are fighting on it. It’s a clever idea and they never get bored.

Assembly is complicated simply because it doesn’t come with clear instructions. Some of the carpet pieces had no adhesive backing. The top of the stairs wood piece was warped. Same day that it was installed, one of the landing boards broke off when a cat landed on it! The wood finish is not attractive - looks raw rather than natural. Completely disappointed in Uahpet products!

Due to moving from a very very large house to an apartment (leased out our big house and moved out of state) we desperately needed some exercise options in a confined space. Due to the height difference of our short console table and cabinet height we left the bottom platform off and had the legs planted firmly in a rug on the table with non slip backing. The top is suctioned to the cabinet. It works perfectly.

This ladder is very well made and the customer service is great but the steps on the ladder aren't staggered as much as they should be for a lot of cats, especially older cats. Cats have to reach straight up to climb and can't just do hops up. The way the steps aren't staggered also means that it's scary and dangerous for some cats to come down. It's just a straight vertical drop to each step. My cats never would climb it and were afraid to go past the first step so we had to send it back. I feel like a tweak on the design could really make this a winner.

I only received one side of the ladder. I got all the steps and hardware, but only one side of the ladder.Edit: After posting this review, the seller promptly contacted me and offered either a full refund or another ladder. I chose the refund as I didn't need another ladder, and the seller promptly issued the refund. I have changed from 1 star to 4 stars for their customer service.

Cheaply made,... can work but your gonna have to make modifications...

Sturdy and good quality. I have 7 large cats 20 pounders in there and it holds up extremely well. I bought a second one

The wood pieces seem to be of very poor quality. One of the piece literally fell apart when unboxing. Another piece broke with only a little pressure on it. It looks like the glue holding the pieces together wasn't good.
