I really like it.* Heat lasts for a little while before having to zap it again in the microwave so, of course, it's not as convenient in that respect as an electric heating pad would be.

A friend gave me a rice filled heating pad that she had made and I really liked it but it was a bit small. It was the first time I ever used something other than a gel pad that you heat in the microwave and those always start leaking after a year or two.I wanted to get another rice type bag - a bit bigger - and went looking on here.For the price, I was not expecting much. I thought it would be cheap, shiny, plastic "velvet" and be... well I didn't expect much but thought it would do.I opened the box and was amazed! This is wonderful, soft real velvet. It is a good size and looks expensive and "hand made". The heat really is somewhat moist, unlike gel heating pads. And I microwave longer then the directions - one minute each side. Yes, it doesn't stay warm that long - maybe 45 minutes - but I like to use it as a foot warmer at the end of the bed and it is perfect for that.Another thing I really like is that the cover is just thick and soft enough so that I don't have to wrap it in a towel or something. Yes, it has a faint odor of like lavender and mint. Not enough to be offensive or pleasant - just a little fragrance.This is one of those things that I think I will have and keep the rest of my life - and you can't say that about many products these days.

I love that you can once heating up the pad the essentials oil scents activate. The weight is not too much. The flexibility of the pad is great size for knee, stomach. It takes care of the areas where pain is at. Quality of it is good but doesn't remain hot a long amount of time.

This is a decent quality heating pad. The description is misleading as there is zero aroma therapy. I only smell flax seed. It takes a bit to heat up and I have a good quality microwave which was used on the high setting.The heat has a decent “life” and does provide moist heat. The smell of the flax seed does not seem to transfer to clothing.It is comfortable and form fitting. Not too heavy on the sore muscles weight wise. I’d say it it slightly above average. I’ll keep it but I won’t recommend it based on poor description.Small banana for scale.

I had one of these pillows that was homemade that I bought at a county fair. I accidentally left it at the hotel while on a vacation. I used it for eye cover because of the lavender smell and I usually had allergy problems when traveling. I hadn’t been able to find another one I liked. I recently hurt my knee and knew I needed to break down and take a chance on one from somewhere besides a craft fair. I’m glad I did. This was exactly what I was looking for. It’s well made. Smells wonderful. Is the perfect size and weight. It holds warmth for a good amount of time. And you can’t beat the cost, it was well worth the money. I’ve only had it for a week or so but it seems like it is going to hold up well with continued variety of use. I really like that it has a removable cover that can be cleaned. Overall I’m super happy with this purchase and plan to buy another one to have on hand, just in case I get forgetful again.

Oh I love this for my neck , back, hands just anywhere your sore, and it smells so good. I love just pop it in theMicrowave and go. I’m thinking great Christmas gifts this coming year.
