The quality was as good as I had hoped and they are perfect for what I need. The only negative is that I would like to see the paper just a little thicker. Ink shows through on the other side of the page and I have had to go back to a pencil to avoid the bleed through. Wasn't part of the original plan.

THE GOOD: Great functional size. It's large enough to write full sentences when you need more than a shorthand note, but still fits in your pocket. Standard ballpoint and gel pen inks do not bleed through the page.NEEDS IMPROVEMENT: Not durable enough in the field. Starts to break down two or three weeks into everyday usage. On my most recent purchase, I have reinforced the exterior and interior seam with fabric book binding tape prior to first usage.OVERALL: I recommend this product; however, if you are actively on the go while using this product just know the stapled seam and cover may breakdown faster than you want.

These are the perfect size for sticking in my shoulder bag or sling for carrying while traveling or working. I bought them for a trip to Ireland, but I will probably settle on these for future writing. Anything larger in size or page number tends to show the wear and tear (no brand or product could avoid it). Paper quality it is great for a fountain pen with no blending through to the other size.

Worked a gig as event staff on the setup side, and bought these as a hopeful answer to taking notes. These hit the mark. Durable as hell (went through 8 days of constantly being bent, folded, mashed, and thrown around for 12+ hours a day) as it lived in my back pocket for the gig. After the gig the booklet has some creasing in the cover and a dog eared corner. Structurally fine in every way.Would like to see some perforated pages for tear away notes (to jot down a note and hand it off to someone) for the last few pages. Otherwise this is everything I needed, and everything I wanted as a single use notebook.

These are great. I’ve been using the small 3x5 notebooks from Field Book but wanted to try the 5x8 for a planner project. There are 31 dots by 18 dots. The dots are a little darker than some other notebooks, but nothing that’s too distracting.

Overall it is a nice "throw away" notebook. The dots are too dark for my liking as they are too prominent and thus distracting. I would prefer a more gray or tan dot as opposed to jet black. Due to the dots, I will not be repurchasing and will look for a different notebook for brainstorming, meeting notes, and projects.

Probaly not true of all, but 4 out of 4 books I received, the top of the pages were not completely cut through. It was an easy but time consuming task with a razor to cut the paper. this I would suspect is more than likely a die cast that needs to be resharpened. other than that, I do not regret purchasing this product.

Great little book to carry with you for notes at meetings. I was hoping it would fit in a leather case I have, but it was too small. I thought it would be thicker, but the page count was correct as listed. No complaints as is. I'll find another product to fit in my leather case. Definitely would buy this again.
