My 7 year old daughter loves this. Everything cuts but it's safe enough for supervised children.She can stand beside me and help make breakfast, cut fruits and veggies, you name it.She's so proud of herself while using these items and when she's done. It's fun for kids. The items are super easy to clean. The size is perfect for her and the quality is really good. It's a great gift.It's definitely worth it.It's teaching her how to prep your meals and I'm so for it.

I got this for my 7 year old son as he is learning to prepare his own simple meals. He absolutely loves this set! Everything fits his hands very well. His favorite took is the peeler. The color is vibrant and easy for him to identify amongst all the other kitchen tools. I love the fact that they are easy to clean and dishwasher safe. My son feels completely safe using these tools. We love this! It’s NOT a child’s toy. It’s for learning and being hands on in the kitchen; that’s what we use it for. The quality is great, they cut nicely, they look cute. We learn safety and the size is a good size for my 6 year old to grow into and use for many years. (I love them too) They’re safe with instruction and supervision, as with all kitchen items.I think if these were a TOY, they would be plastic.Great way for my child to feel special and when he’s in the mood to participate, he has his special set. The joy that alone brings us worth having this set.

This kit has been fantastic for my daughter! Watching her learn to use her own utensils and practice cutting with a knife has been such a joy. Knives are great, super safe for our kiddo and have lasted for six months. The cutting board broke within the first week.

My kids love being able to use their own knives when they cook with me. This allows them to educate them selves on safety of knives. They cut through anything. My kids chop up carrots, celery, strawberries, potatoes and they work really good. The cutting boards have held up really nicely as well!
