I need a line spooler for a long time, but most of them are not cheap, until I found this one. The price is good, and it works perfect until now. I can either organize my lines at home or at pier. So far so good. Everyone need one at home.

Don’t waste your time or money.I have been fishing my whole life, so I am not a noob. I have spent the last 4 hours and I wasted a lot of expensive monofilament trying to get this garbage equipment to spool a brand new reel. The spooler rattles around and the line spills off getting twisted in the equipment. It is 10 o’clock at night, I have been at this since 6! I am flipping out! Total garbage.

First thing I noticed is how well this item is made and the instructions are easy to understand. There’s a clamp which holds firmly to table or countertop and there’s also a clamp for attaching directly to your pole. The kit allows you to remove line and you can save it in the included spool or use it to spool your reel with your favorite line. At this price point there’s no reason to fumble around while changing line.

I just used this to spool up a new spinning reel and once I got it set up correctly it was super easy. I’m sure the next reel will be a piece of cake. A few tips, make sure you have the line coming off the new spool by the pole. If you attach the unit to the rod and the reel is down, it will be at the top of the spool. Second, unless you have a large rod, you’ll need to flip the adapter clamp around to get a tight fit. See picture.Overall this worked well to put on some new line. My only concern is how well this will prevent line twist on a spinning reel as the spool doesn’t twist around while it lets out line like on other models. This may be ok for a baitcaster though.
