Works well. The crocodile 'arms' are a bit flimsy and just will not tighten up enough to hold a piece of work. They just drop down (the left side from my point of view) is the worst for this. No matter though as have sufficient equipment to hold my circuit boards or items I'm soldering.The extractor works well and does the job intended. Doesn't need the crocodile attachments though. They are a nuisance :)

This little extractor fan works brilliantly!I chose this after reading the reviews and considering the cost. Forget the negative reviews .. this little unit works as advertised .. it's powerful and draws the soldering fumes through the filters effortlessly. Yes it has to be around 4 inches from the work ( although seemed to work about 6" from the job) but for my requirements it's ideal. Together with flexible hands free arms and 2 baffles fitted on the front.. I think for the price, it is perfect for small soldering work where extraction is needed.

I have used this a few times now, and very happy with. The noise isnt too loud, I always have music on when crafting, so it doesnt bother me! You do need to be very close for it the catch the fumes, but otherwise would give it a 5 str.

I found the product easy to use and set up quickly.
