Pure comfort
Not for extension of the neck. It's good and stretchy enough to make your neck comfortable. I like the Velcro. Really help to support my neck. The material is velvety and soft. Highly recommend this pillow

Year and a half, still holding strong!
I have to say, for under $15 I wasn't expecting too much, but this thing has far exceeded my expectations in every way. I've had it for about a year and a half and have abused the piss out of it. 2 years ago I started having cervical disc issues and after a while just needed something to relieve the weight of my own head every now and again. I got this intending to use it just when I need a little relief.... but when I say I've abused it, I have ABUSED it and its still holding strong. Ive used it during projects to support my head for hours at a time so I wouldn't be straining my neck muscles so much. Ive slept with it occasionally. Ive used it as a leveraging tool to stretch my neck muscles a LOT (this puts so much pressure on it, and it is not designed for this kind of use). I ended up having a spinal fusion about 7 months back and sometimes preferred this over the brace they gave me after surgery (after the initial 1st week which is the worst). To this day even though I'm starting to gain some normalcy back and less and less pain, I still use it during projects as a reminder to have good posture or lounging around because its just comfy!I'm just so pleased with this sturdy little thing and decided I had to give it a 5 star review and tell the world that I highly recommend it! Its just great!Last side note, there was good thought that went into the design. My favorite part is that you can disconnect the little hand pump to let the air out fast when finished, but I use it to cheat when blowing it up.... since you can disconnect the hand pump, you can actually blow it up quite fast (like a balloon) and then use the hose clamp to stop it from leaking back out while you put the hand pump back on and then fine tune the tightness the rest of the way with that! That way your hand doesn't get tired from pumping so much!It also has a valve that you can loosen to slowly let air out in a controlled manner if you want to gradually reduce pressure before taking it off completely. Its 200% worth every penny, your neck will thank you!

I worry about cranking a device around my carotid artery. But it offers some relief.

Works great!
My mom is getting Physical Therapy for her cervical spine and the DPT that is treating her recommended this exact brand and device. It’s affordable treatment that can be done at home and it will help with her getting used to traction. Manual decompression is too intense and this has been working great so far. I made sure to read the instructions and I was weary after reading the reviews however I can confidently say this works. As long as you don’t over pump it you should be good. I don’t see how anyone would want it pumped all the way because it does get quite intense. I tried it on myself and had to take it off after 3 minutes. The instructions have you wear it for 5-10 minutes which I have my mom doing 1-2x a day and is working fantastic. This is also helping me get some practice since I am currently in DPT school myself. Overall very happy with my purchase

An Excellent Product for those with Neck Pain & Discomfort
My Neck Pain was worsened by improper posture, and I have had Traction Treatments at Physical Therapy. However, this ingenious device makes it possible to do it on your own, at your own home or office. You simply attach it with two velcro strips, and pump the Rubber Bulb, until you feel comfortable with the level of traction. Then lock it in, and It simply Decompresses the Vertebrae, Muscles & Tendons, returning you to the normal Pain-Free condition. Gravity has it's way with our bodies, and the Cervical Spine is no different. It can become very painful, & even cause Headaches. Use this device Gradually, within your comfort zone, starting with just a few minutes at a time, twice a day. Gradually increase the time, and pressure, as you relearn to maintain your Correct Posture. I actually got relief the first day, and it is an Awesome Feeling! This is so much easier than keeping Physical Therapy appointments. Soon you will stand taller, and even adjust the rear view mirror in your car, as little things like this, help you to retrain your muscles and correct your posture! Remember to be patient, and stay within your comfort zone. I use it 4 or 5 times a day now, for about 10 minutes each, and after just days, I feel so much better. I am so glad that I found this product, and BRANFIT is a Great Supplier!

Doesn't do much
I don't write reviews often, but the company says the device would stretch the neck. This item barely does that, let alone relieve pain. All it does is restrict blood flow to my face. Tired of fake reviews, I'm going to start reviewing products without bias so people don't have to waste their time or money returning useless products.I got the product and tried it on myself first, you really have to pump a lot of air into it to get even a slight stretch of the neck, at that point, blood flow to your face/head is restricted and you start to feel dizzy, and the device clamps yours jaws/teeth shut uncomfortably. Then I let my mom try who, she has pretty bad disk degeneration in her neck. She said it didn't really affect the pain. So I put the brace on again and honestly, it does little to stretch the neck, more noticeably, the amount of discomfort I feel on my face/head region due to blood flow loss caused my high pressure from the device makes this item not worth while at all.The item hardly stretches the neck, I did feel some/mild stretching in my neck area/mid back muscles, but to achieve that level you need to pump the item to be highly pressurized but at that point your face, jaw, and head start to hurt from the discomfort.

Neck extender for neck pain
Item does stretch your neck. However, if you inflate it too much, the Velcro fasteners come loose. Highly recommend.
