Finally!! Five years to find a dog food he’ll eat!
Update: That was March, it's the end of June, and I just ordered 3 more bags (because I found it at a discounted price) but he is averaging a bag a month and I try and give him only about 1/3 cup 2x a day, or I give him 2/3 in the evening. Never fails, he eats all of it, every time. I tried Katherine Heigl's Badlands Ranch, Sundays, and Pawstruck all within the next month because of the price point on Nutra Complete, which only (barely) gets me 30 days. (The others cost a lot, but there is quite a bit more volume and weight per bag and would theoretically last longer if he would eat it!)I still supplement the Nutra Complete by keeping the other ones in his regular dry dish, but he will rarely touch it! All those other brands are just sitting there, not even halfway empty. And after the "trial," I forgot to cancel one of the above, and it was a $78 charge!Bottom line, I know he is getting well-balanced nutrition that won't trigger cancer or inflammation. He's lean and mean at a whopping 8#'s, so I have no idea how middle-income retirees with bigger dogs could afford this, but I'm happy to do without Starbucks coffee for my little one. I figure I'm investing in his future healthcare and longevity, so he's worth it. I'd rather pay now to avoid him having debilitating or chronic health issues in the future, especially with vet visits/services costing more than my own doctor visits! :)**************************************************************************************************************************************I’ve tried expensive, shipped frozen “real food," basted and baked, several “healthier” (meaning very expensive!) dog food brands, even made my own dog food, but my dog only eats to live. Some days he will flat out refuse to eat. He’s only 8 pounds and he’s super active. (I’ve had to learn to throw with my left arm because this dog does lives to catch a ball and my right arm wears out before he ever does!) Which means he burns calories like crazy. I’ve had to keep him on puppy food for extra calories!Nutra Complete Freeze Dried Raw Food was my last stand, I hated the idea of spending this much money on one pound net weight…but! He loves this. I’m floored. These light brown nuggets are a little smaller than a cube of cheese; some will crush with pressure, but seem to take on a more spongy consistency, similar to a packing peanut, after being opened for several days—it’s humid here.Definitely not a hard, brittle, or crunchy texture. So nice because I didn't receive half a bag of crushed pellets and dust in the mail. The only thing my dog will eat and eat is freeze-dried liver. If it were healthy enough for him to live on alone, that would be great, but by itself, there isn’t a proper balance of nutrition, so no go. But when he won’t eat for 2 days straight, walking over to his bowl, sniffing and walking away, there were times I considered giving him a bowl of freeze-dried liver just for calorie’s sake!!Never seen anything like it! This dog just doesn’t like to eat food with the exception of pepperoni and croissants. And like that is anything on the healthy side. Even I don’t eat that but every few months or so.I’ve made him ground beef, ground chicken, ground turkey/-with rice and organic vegetables, and after the first feeding, he won’t eat it unless I sprinkle it with grated cheese, just a pinch, and then, nope. He’s killing me Smalls!!He doesn’t like dog food of any kind and only breaks down and eats it when he realizes I’m not going to give in. Until now. And while this is liver too, it contains another organ meat, kelp, and various orange and green vegetables, plus blueberries, which I have a hard time getting him to eat —they contain a lot of phytonutrients and antioxidants. I also like the addition of cranberries because of the d-mannose.He’d eat a whole bowl of Nutra Complete dry if I’d let him, but I like the idea of hydrating it because I put extra water in the bowl. After he eats the food, he drinks all the water, which is great because this dog is half horse. (Or camel!) I worry about him eating and drinking. Especially after we’ve played outside in the Florida heat! And yes, I’ve literally walked the water bowl over to him in his chair just so he’ll drink. My grandkids cause me less worry!! And yes, sadly, I am well trained. 😩Unless I find legitimate information contradicting the health benefits of this particular brand, I’ll be budgeting for this regularly. We’ll see how long a 1# bag lasts…probably won’t be any more expensive than bag after bag of food he refuses to eat.I keep some in his treat jar, and he eats them with gusto.Omgoodness! He heard me handling the bag when I made sure my info was right, and he came running in from outside—how can you resist that face, dirty as it is?! When he’s on his back legs like that, he’s waving his paws up and down begging. Little runt! Stuck his head right in the bag when I wanted to take a picture of the nuggets! Too funny!Yep, it’s a keeper. So easy, I dump it into lukewarm water, let it sit, then he comes right over and eats it, all the leftover water too.(And his poop didn’t go ballistic changing over either, not surprising since he has never had the same dog food for any extended period of time.)So this poor, old lady is more than happy to pay for quality nutrition that isn’t going to cause joint pain and inflammation, doesn't contain known carcinogens or dyes, and that my dog will actually eat! This stuff is going to pay for itself in restoring my mental health—who would have ever thunk it? A dog that doesn’t like to eat?! Cute little bugger breaking all kinds of norms! Ha ha! That’s my fur baby!

Nutra complete- pricey but worth the price
If you have more than one pet it is very expensive. That being said, it is so good for them. My two dogs are healthier and have more energy. Their digestive systems seem much more regulated with no foul odors.

My dog is a happy camper!
My dog loves this dog food! The quality is excellent and it doesn’t smell bad. I don’t add any liquid to the food, like it recommends. My dog prefers it dry.

My dog, Oliver loves it!
My dog loves this food! I have been searching for something my finicky Dog Oliver would like. One issue, there’s so much crumbs in the bottom of the bag. More than one would expect to see. Otherwise, I think this is really a great product.

Freeze-dried goodness
I just got two 10-week old puppies and with that comes wanting the best for them and their growing bodies. I came across this Nutra Complete freeze-dried dog food and was completely impressed with the high quality ingredients - NO fillers or by-products. My pups love this food! It is pricier than kibble; however, it does give you a peace of mind knowing that your fur babies are getting the proper nutrients. :) Highly recommend but do note that once the package is opened, it does need to be kept in the refrigerator. I have the 3 lb bag, it takes up quite a bit of fridge space. Lol

It improved my dogs health very noticeably!
My 12-year old dog is a lifelong fussy eater. This is the FIRST dog food he will eat consistently! His energy level and general health are noticeably improved with this food!! He is acting like a puppy since eating this! No exaggeration!

Great food and dogs are enthusiastic about eating it. Everytime.
Great food. My 3 dogs (2 bullys and 1 chihuahua mix) eat half this and half meat and veggies. One bully is most allergy prone color of dog, per vet, and I had gotten him a few cytopoint injections for itching. No injections or allergy symptoms, no licking sores in interdigital spaces, he is thriving. I’m just seeing this same brand w newer bone broth infusions formulation, and since I have been adding collagen steeped from pork or beef bones, trying that food it is arriving anytime. I’m very sure they will love it as they do this food. I will definitely update if I am wrong.

Ate well at first then quit.
My dog ate this food really well the first time I served it to him. Now he will only nibble at it. A couple of pieces when he walks by. It smells really good to me and the ingredients are most of what he likes. He has done this same pattern with 4 other foods.
