I work in the technical industry and have been fed-up booting up a laptop I carry around just to do checks with tools that are now available on Android. In fact, most devices I install require to be configured, or are easier to configure using Android, so, I’ve been mostly do this using my mobile phone. This is okay, but the screen size is proving to be a more of a problem these days, so I decided to give this device a try. Wow, what a difference, with Microsoft365 running well on Android as well as other my other programs I use, I’m able to do 95% of my work or more without the need for the laptop, which in most cases is everything for those clients when on-site. The laptop will only come on-site for those jobs that require it, otherwise it stays locked away safe in the car or left at home or, I remote-in to a windows PC on-site using this Tablet for that kind of work.Now initially I was going to try one of their lower resolution screen offerings, but because I have to use Excel spreadsheets a number of times, I decided to opt for this high-resolution screen version, TAB16 Pro, again, the best decision I could have made. The unit is fast, 16Gb RAM (8Gb + 8Gb extended via software), takes a SIM card and data expansion via SD card with built-in 256Gb internal memory, and has proven to be the best Android experience I have ever had using a tablet device. Did I say it is also running Android 14?I would recommend this machine to anyone without hesitation, and for the Pro label, yes it lives up to that too.The unit was advertised as coming with a 2-year guarantee and a keyboard. Now it arrived fully sealed, and the keyboard was an additional item for this offer but wasn’t included in the package. I had read that a few times this has happened to others, but they wrote that their experience with Blackview support was excellent, and as this was bought directly from them via Amazon, I wasn’t too worried. Dropped them a message that day, they got back to me that evening and asked for some details and by this morning, they confirmed the error, confirmed the guarantee period and are shipping out the keyboard in the meantime. Again, getting bored of saying this, but wow! 😊Is there anything I can say I don’t like or wish it had? Nothing, it’s great, get one I say, go on, give it a go.It has everything you need, but just in case, it doesn’t offer NFC, but who needs that on a Tablet, that’s what my phone is for, and I don’t want any banking or payment apps happening on any more than one device and that’s my phone.So, all in all, Build quality and styling. Excellent.Screen. Excellent, both bright and punchy.Service. Excellent.Packaging and the accessories. Excellent.Guarantee Period. 2 years Excellent.Android experience. Excellent, for me, the best on a Tablet, real work can be done in the real world, in my opinion, to reiterate, really does live up to the Pro in the name.

This assessment follows a disappointing response from Blackview to a potential battery safety issue. A battery overheating warning display (55°C)has been showing intermittently after using indoors and not in direct sunlight, sometimes for as little as forty minutes. When I contacted Blackview to report this their response was to request full model details (provided) and to suggest "the possible solution" of resetting the tablet with loss of all data. I did not consider this an adequate response to a potential fire hazard. An acceptable response would be to send immediately a new replacement tablet and request return of the three week old faulty one.Several further emails from me reporting this continuing problem have elicited no response. I have therefore returned the tablet to Amazon for refund which was issued immediately and without quibble.I am disappointed in the way Blackview handled this matter. I've owned a Tab 12 pro for just over a year, liked it and given a 5 star review although commented on the limited battery duration. Their products give outstanding value but in my experience let down by the battery.Addendum. Before returning the tablet to Amazon I followed the instructions to reset it . This did not work despite several attempts. I therefore deleted sensitive and personal apps individually and while I was doing this the battery overheating warning light came on yet again. Still no response from Blackview Addendum. My one star review has triggered a response from the seller. I have been sent a refund of £50 to my Amazon account. I am pleased that the safety concerns outlined in my previous review now seem to be addressed. As previously stated the faulty tablet was returned to Amazon for a prompt full refund. I then brought an identical replacement because of my previous good experience with Blackview product Tab 12 pro purchased over a year ago (5 stars).The one star would not have been given if the initial complaint had been dealt with correctly. The faulty product probably was/ is a factory " one off"To review my new replacement tablet. It gives remarkable value for money. Battery life is good if screen brightness is controlled. Bluetooth connection time was initially slow but has now improved to acceptable . The touchscreen speed is also acceptable.......good if the screen is clean. I hope it will give good performance for some years. I am changing my grading to 5 star although I considered only 4 because of the irritation and frustration experienced initially

The tablet is perfect for all my needs; great big, responsive screen, quick loading, superb video quality. I don't think the battery is capable of running out! The best bit for me was I'd missed the free keyboard promotion and the seller actually contacted me to point this out and sent me one out. Overall , 6 stars at least

Despite nightmare experience with Amazon as part of my order was missing, they expected me to raise a crime ref number with the Police for something I never received or was ever in my possession never mind being anywhere near my property etc. Amazon now fail to deliver your order complete and as a bonus expect you to liaise with law enforcement to establish where THEIR failed delivery and items which you have paid for have dissappeared.... go figure !! As a bonus when I unpacked the Tablet if was faulty and failed to start up, stuck in a re-boot cycle with screen freeze .. Avoid these muppets at all cost ...

Bought a Blackview tab 16 pro for my wife and she absolutely loves it . This is the only tablet that I have found that comes with a case with sleep wake facility and also a screen protector fitted Advertised comes with keyboard but did not arrive. So emailed company and.are now sending it out. Also thank you to Zoey for her helpful service

Very good value for the money, does everything it says , has the performance of much more expensive makes.Very easy to get up and running.
