Exactly what I needed
I changed my front door knob and dead bolt out and everything went smoothly surprisingly since I’ve never changed out a door know/dead bolt before except for the striker plate. The old one didn’t fit the new dead bolt. Who knew there’d be such a difference? I found this striker plate and installed it and it fit! I can dead bolt my door now.

Works
Had problems with my new electronic deadbolt, difficulty closing with the locks included strike plate. This worked perfectly. Now it locks like butter.

Finally found this!
I have a house with wood door frames and they have some age. I purchased electronic door locks, remote controlled, however, any slight interference with the bolt being thrown, causes an error. Basically I needed a bigger hole. Easy to get the hole with the wood frame, but then how to get some level of metal around the bigger hole??? This receiver strike plate is only one I have found with a larger hole but basically same drill holes as normal small plate. Worked well for me. The dowels helped plug the old holes to add strength.

This Is The Electronic Lock Lifesaver You Are Looking For
I've ordered five of these (waiting on the 5th as I type this) and this deadbolt strike plate is simply the best you are going to find for a narrow-side deadbolt strike plate. I finished building my home last December and decided to use electronic smart deadbolts. My contractor had never seen such a deadbolt before and didn't understand that the bolt needed a clear and unobstructed path since the motors on electronic deadbolts are not powerful enough to handle any interference. As a result, 5 of my 8 doors with smart deadbolts simply would not work. I then spent a small fortune trying countless other solutions that failed to close the doors that fraction of an inch farther that would allow the deadbolt to pass freely without obstruction. Finally it dawned on me that I could rather use a deadbolt strike plate that had one side slight smaller. I went looking for solutions and initially purchased "C" style strike plates that rely on the wooden door jamb. That solved the issue, but I was not satisfied that my kids wouldn't damage the door frame over time. I went back to square one in April this year and found this MOSECYOU Deadbolt Restorer Strike Plate. It both resolves my need for a clear bolt path and still maintains a full metal structure to protect the door jamb from repeated strikes. If your door frame already has a cutout for this square shape strike plate (and it's the correct 2 1/4 size, this is plug and play. For me I had strike plates with 1/4" radius corners so I need to grind the corners down on the strike plate to get them to fit. That was easier than modifying the door jamb itself (and less costly if I messed up). If I could ask the manufacturer to make any change it would be to offer this item with 1/4" radius corners to match more standard strike plate dimensions. But other than that, this thing saved me nearly a thousand dollars in a potentially wasted purchase of smart locks. Good stuff!

Just what I was looking for
After installing a smart deadbolt, I found the door had to he lined up 100% perfect, with no wiggle room or the lock would jam. These plates gave just enough play and now I have no more issues with the deadbolt.

Great way to correct deadbolt misalignment!
Very easy to install and worked great in solving our problem where the deadbolt didn't easily fully extend into the door jamb.

Fixed my problem!
Just installed a new deadbolt with a keypad. The power lock wasn’t able to clear the existing trike plate. This gave the bolt just enough space. Works like a charm. Just wish there was a Brushed Nickel colour option to match my door hardware.

Larger strike plate for fussy electronic lock that doesn't open in the cold
I ordered the MOSECYOU Deadbolt Restorer Strike Plate because my electronic door lock has issues in the winter when it is cold. It works fine until the temperature drops. Anything that impedes the deadbolt, causes it to stop and give an error. It still works fine with the key. Hopefully the larger strike plate will solve that problem but it is still too warm outside to know if it works.

Hole cover
Worked well as my lock never quite went into the hole. Now it does and works perfectly. Good quality metal and nice looking. Who could want more.

Offset striker plate for door jamb repairs
Having an offset striker plate helps with those slightly misaligned locks. In my case it is the summer sun that cause the issue of jamming. When the door heats up on a hot day it becomes harder to open or close because of the slight expansion shift which in turn moves the lock assembly. With one thinner side you have the ever so slight flexibility. There are small dowels included to plug the original screw holes if the reinsertion of the screws is too loose. This plates set suffers from the same thing most plate sets suffer from. Yes, why do they only include a screw or screw that are only 1 to 1 1/2 inches? That is no security at all. The set screws should be at least 4 inches to give some security for the plate being pried out of the jamb. These longer screws I supply myself. The plate is what I need. Would I buy this again? Yes.

Deadbolt finally slides easily
I changed one of our lock for a keypad and had to pull the door to have the deadbolt going in.This simply solved it 👌I used the longer screws provided for better stability.I’m keeping the wood sticks in my toolbox, as they could be handy to fill a loose screw hole.Sold just under $11.
