This fireplace is great. Looks beautiful, sounds realistic, fairly straightforward installation. The dimensions for the opening are tight; would recommend adding a quarter inch all around for easier installation. Also we did not receive the correct log inventory, but it still worked out.

The media could not be loaded. The unit is clean and looks nice with good controls via the remote but we see this "searchlight" issue that might be a defect in this unit? Returned the unit for refund but would buy again if that is just an anomaly with the current unit.

So far, all great. We've used it for heat, used it for decor, and are happy. Seems to be well made.

Though initially hesitant about what to expect, I was quickly reassured once it arrived.The fireplace arrived swiftly and very securely packaged, and I was immediately impressed by its high-quality. We had our dear friend, a handyman and electrician install it for us. He found the installation straightforward and easy, thanks to the clear, easy-to-follow instructions. It can be mounted on the wall, freestanding, or built-in - we chose the latter, and it comes with a remote control for adjusting flame intensity, heat settings, and even a realistic cracking sound with adjustable brightness and volume, which I adore. The convenience of operating it via app, Alexa, Google, or remote is a major plus, especially when we are snuggled on the sofa.One of my favorite features is the ability to use it with or without heat, allowing us to enjoy the ambiance year-round. With 9 stunning flame colors and 5 brightness levels, the LED flames are so realistic it's hard to believe they aren't real. The warmth and inviting atmosphere it creates is simply unmatched.Upon installation, I was left speechless, and trust me, that's a rare occurrence! The endless compliments from visitors confirm its beauty. Despite our senior status, our decor style is modern/contemporary, and this fireplace fits perfectly. Yet it would add a touch of elegance to any decor style without taking up too much space.We're absolutely in love with this PuraFlame Bernice smart liner electric fireplace. For us,it has been a dream come true. It surpasses other models we considered, boasting fantastic features and top-notch quality at a considerably lower price. It truly is a great investment. If you're looking to add elegance and create a cozy atmosphere in your living space, this fireplace is an excellent choice, and I can't recommend this electric fireplace highly enough.
