Okay, this stuff? It’s tiny but mighty. I’m on a GLP-1 right now, which means my mornings are a little crunched when it comes to food and liquids- I can’t exactly pound three cups of coffee like I used to. So I needed a way to get that caffeine kick without needing a full IV drip of espresso. Enter: TypeZero Clean Guarana Powder.The scoop is tiny.. like, hilariously small.. but it delivers serious caffeine. I’ve been mixing one scoop into my morning coffee along with my collagen powder and usual creamer, and I am fired up and ready to go. The taste and smell on their own are definitely kind of weird, almost earthy and bitter, but here’s the magic: once it’s in your coffee with creamer? You’d never know it’s there. No grit, no weird aftertaste- just energy.

Product seal was VERY strong and difficult to get open, but provides confidence that it didn’t get contaminated during shipping. Seems to provide energy? Because of the color or product I don’t recommend putting in a clear beverage, or at least don’t do a clear beverage in a clear container; visually it isn’t appealing. Also, it works best in a flavored beverage because there is some kind of taste/chalky/mouthfeel with it. It does take a little work to mix in with a shaker bottle, maybe stirring works easier? Overall, pretty happy with it. If I notice any negatives I will be sure to update.

You gotta be careful with guarana in general. It carries about twice as much caffeine as coffee, so if you're sensitive to caffeine or should avoid it, this probably isn't for you. I personally need to watch my caffeine intake, but taking guarana isn't the same for me as drinking too much coffee. There's more of a "balanced" feel to it. There's no spike and crash like I can get with coffee, nor jitters and anxiousness. And maybe that's because I have such a tiny amount. I just feel energized, alert, and ready for whatever. Sometimes it makes me want to dance and do cartwheels. But I can only have a teeeeeeeny tiny bit. But I guess that's good news, right? This container will last forEVER!!! It doesn't dissolve super well unless I froth it in with a drink or shake it well. I tried mixing it in a carbonated drink and that was gross. It didn't dissolve so there were tiny guarana balls in my drink. Eck. But in addition to adding it to a drink, my daughter has mixed it in with her Greek yogurt. Since a serving is such a small amount of powder (we only use 1/2 a tiny scoop), it doesn't alter the taste that much of the yogurt. Especially if you're also eating fruit with it. Overall, I really like this powder, and would purchase it again. I've shared it with others who needed some energy, and they liked the effects better than coffee. Plus, if you research the benefits of guarana, there are so many!! Cognitive improvement, antioxidant, plus obviously energy enhancement. Lots of other benefits, too. I'm going to keep it as an almost-daily habit!

No question this stuff is the real deal. I'm very familiar with 200mg caffeine pills like Vivarin, and one scoop of this stuff feels like taking 2-3 Vivarin, so I strongly suggest starting with half a scoop on your first try. It's insanely strong. I haven't experienced a jolt like this since I first tried Ultimate Orange pre-workout drink back in the 90s. It was banned a couple years later because one of the ingredients, ephedrine, is a precursor to crystal meth, and is now a controlled substance. Those were the days. Crazy workouts. But look at the jar and how much you get! This will last me forever! Such a great deal! And the best part is that it's 100% natural and not some synthetic poison created in a lab. I looked at a couple of the other reviews to see how anyone could be disappointed with this stuff and a couple people didn't like the taste. It tastes exactly like how ground up seeds should taste, earthy and natural. Someone said that it tasted like black tea or Matcha tea, which were my exact thoughts on my first sip and 100% accurate. So, if you have no problem with unsweetened tea, then you shouldn't have a problem with this stuff. If you're a picky eater, then just mix it into some juice and the taste completely disappears. I've got nothing bad to say about this stuff and this is the one of the very rare instances where I feel like I'm getting a lot of bang for my buck and I'm ripping off the seller. It just greatly exceeded my expectations and I'm just so warm and giddy and excited, but that's mostly due to the Guarana I'm sipping on. LOL.

High quality energy. No jitteryness, and in my experience don't ingest any 5-6 hours before you go to sleep to get good quality sleep. Mixes very well in hot drinks, but very hard to mix with room temperature to cold drinks. It does have a bitter taste, but it's not overempowering to whatever drink you mix it in, but you'll know it's there. Cheaper alternative to Energy drinks.
