My WiFi signal isn't very strong in my bedroom, but I managed to set this cute little bird on a dresser and now I get a great picture. I don't mind it on my dresser because it is so cute. My only complaint is that the box appeared to have been opened and the cables used. No instructions were in the box, but fortunately I have had other antennas and could figure it out pretty well. So overall I'm very happy wit this little chirper.

Please save yourself the hassle and don’t waste your money on this antenna - in particular the “coax” cable portion is absolute junk and the whole thing stops working after a couple months. By now (sheer stubbornness on my part) I have wasted hours upon hours adjusting, troubleshooting and babying this thing. I wish I had stuck to my gut instinct upon opening the box, seeing how thin the cable portion was and immediately requested a return.Right away, I got 54 channels and at least 10 of them were HD 1080p. Other channels came in clearer than I expected and there was even tolerable signal when there were severe thunderstorms going on outside.Slowly, the number of channels kept decreasing even though I redid and still redo my channel scans every 3-4 days, and adjust the antenna and coax (including connection to the tv itself). The long range vs short range option doesn’t affect anything where I am.4 months in and I am down to 5 channels which are all subsets of the same station x-1, x-2, x-3 and so forth.Kudos to anyone this antenna works for long term. My household is unfortunately calling this antenna a failure. It is going in the trash and we are going back to researching antennas. Antennas with quality coax cables.

Purchased this because of the aesthetic. Yet also purchased this because there was a 14 foot cord that came with it. (And I'm glad I did as like me...you might have to move around to get the best reception.) The device was easy to set up, sturdy as well as various options i how to Connect to the various scenarios that you may have at home. I needed it for one station, NBC. And I was able to get that thus solving my particular problem. Regardless it is always good to have an antenna just in case! If you're getting one just in case—I'd recommend this one not just for the versatility but also for the aesthetics. Useful to note there is a switch toggle to either a tower connection versus short distance connection which I found made a difference on which station I was able to get. Picture quality was great, ease of installation was just that very easy. I would say good value + decent performance. Last it's worth noting I live on the lakefront of a big city with a lot of buildings in the way and a harbor full of boat radars in the summer. So it's not always to get a signal....with this I got quite a few. Recommend.

Cute little bird indoor antenna for local channels, works great and picks up all of local channels even though I am about 45 miles out of the metroplex.

This is an ok product. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't for me. I was able to get the same quality and same number of channels with my 15 year old antenna as I could with this one. So I returned it, got my money back, and put my 15 year old antenna back up.

I was very surprised that this small antenna really works. Be sure to move it around for the best signal coverage. I scanned 17 channels the first time by setting it in front of the tv. And 41 channels when I moved it to a window. I bought a second one for my sister. The most difficult with her setup was her Vizio Smart TV. The hook up was easy, it was the scanning steps that took time. Be patient, final scan for her was 36 channels.

I couldn't get a signal for any channels no matter where I set it. I've had other antennas in the past where I could pick up several local stations. Had to send it back.

This item was great the first month. Now 2 and a half months later I only get 1/3 of the channels it should and has picked up the entire time before. I have scanned for channels like 20 times with this item in tons of different places sometimes it sees the channels but will not pull enough signal to broadcast them.
