Wonderful to use
I had almost forgotten how great a traditional, old-style is to use. I've had my fill of skinny cell phones and "modern" style phones with weird, awkward shapes. The handset is easy to balance on your should when taking notes and the number pad works very easy and positive. The phone has loudness controls for both the handset and the ringer. I turned both controls to their lowest setting and it works fine. Voice clarity on the handset is perfect. It does feel a bit strange to hear a telephone "ring" again after years of electronic tones. The phone might be a bit too foreign-looking for a young person who has never used an old style phone before, but for anyone older, this is the phone to have. Keep in mind this phone only does one thing. Namely, to talk on. There are no additional features like caller ID, call forwarding, messaging, etc. If you want those features you can always use the phone in conjunction with a separate answering machine or call blocker. That's what I did. I will be ordering more of these phones for the rest of my house. Life is good again.

Great for elderly Mom!
Bought for my Mom’s 89th birthday. She became very frustrated with her cordless phone so I bought this one. She LOVES it! Its ring is pretty loud and distinct voice clarity is good. I bought an extra long coiled cord and the extra long cable to the wall jack. We call it her “Batphone”🤣 it’s made her life much easier.

Junk, do not buy. No stars deserved....
I looked at many phones on Amazon and chose this one due to simplicity and reviews for my elderly parent. First of all, the ringer is no where near loud enough even on highest setting. When speaking to another person, the volume through the receiver is very low also. The phone stopped working after 2 weeks. I am trying to return it for a refund but I may have missed the return window by 3 days. If I get a replacement or refund, I will update with status.

A phone that does what its suppose to
The phone is a phone. It does what its intended to do. It works Welland is sharp looking but it's not of the same quality of the phones from yesteryear(surprise surprise). The handset is so light that if you purchase the longer cord, the weight of the cord pulls on the handset and lifts it off the buttons so people calling in will get a busy signal. The ringer is loud and the button on handset is a great feature for those hard of hearing.

If you want to relive your past with those old phone's, this is the one.
Truly I am very impressed with the level of detail and dedication to make this phone look, and function like it's ancestors. The phone works perfectly, and the volume up in the ear piece make hearing those whispering people a lot easier to hear. While it is has a plastic shell, it feels nice and solid with good mass to it, It could have had a carry handle on the back like the original's. Over all, very happy with the phone and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for that retro look.

I’m happy with this purchase.
I have not had a land line phone for over 10 years and I was a bit disappointed in the weight of the phone (I guess I still expected for it to weigh 30 pounds like it used to). However, the weight is actually better once you adjust to it. I like that the base is still metal. I love the design (reminds me of my childhood). The ringer is not super loud but it’s good enough. There was some feedback on the handset and I was disappointed. However, after reading the manual-I moved the phone two feet away from the router and box ( I have Spectrum Voice and plug directly into the router) and the problem was solved. No ticking feedback. So, overall, I have no complaints with this product at this time. Every issue I did have was easily resolved with reading the manual and by adjusting my own expectations to the year 2024.

Easy to use; nice loud ring
I bought the phone for my 96-year old mother who has difficulty using the cordless phone. She couldn't remember how to "hang up" the phone and would therefore leave it "off the hook" for hours. This was very troublesome; because I wasn't able to check on her when I was away from the house. This phone is so simple, pick it up to talk and then hang it up. It's just what we needed. My mother has no trouble with the corded desk phone. The phone rings so loudly that it can be heard all over the house. I am going to purchase another one for her bedroom. Thanks for carrying this "old school" phone.
