Replacement for a broken one
Jammed up my last and made it slightly bent... Enough to make it useless on a lathe. This replacement works well, centers, tightens and holds just as expected. The shank is thicker than the last one, should hold up better.

As described
Good item. Does the job. Can be sprung so don't over tighten.

Works great
Worked perfectly and was exactly what I was hoping for!

Worked to adjust one ring, though not easily. Poor quality and design.
This has has an 18mm shaft that needs to be secured for use, as no handle is provided. I chucked it in my metal lathe. Due to arthritis I guess, my "white gold" simple wedding ring would no longer fit. ID of the ring was 0.775". The ring would loosely fit onto the third step of the tool. At no point in the process, as the ring was stretched larger, would it fit onto the next larger step of the tool. In use, the tool "fingers" bent outward as expected, but the metal lacked adequate spring flexure to return to its original size.I started by lubricating the screw threads and its tapered head, as well as the ring to tool interface. I was able to snug up the ring, turning the hex wrench by hand and feeling when the ring was no longer free to turn on the tool. I then tightened the bolt about half a turn more after each sizing attempt. After each stretch attempt, the ring would slowly increase in size, but at no point would it fit on the next larger step of the tool. After each stretch the tool slots opened up a bit more, failing to spring fully back as the metal bent outward, taking a set as shown in the pictures.I was able to increase the ring size from 0.774" to 0.785". The ring still would not fit on the next larger step of the tool - though I can now get it on my finger! Outboard of the "step" where the ring was, the tool slots are bent outward permanently and trashed. Inadequate design not recommended.,
