We create three types of content. Lives (streaming/Twitch), shorts (TikTok), and long form content (YouTube). This camera has changed how we produce all of our content, for the better.1. The camera is actually good. The lens is a 23mm f/1.8. If you know about camera lenses, then you know how much that alone could cost. We've tried a few different cameras over the years and this one is seriously good for the price.2. Our workflow while we record in the shop is so much more efficient because of the AI tracking features. The time we spent moving one camera from place to place in the shop is now just placing the camera in an angle that can see most of our workspace and then we use hand gestures to track and zoom.3. Connectivity is easy since there are multiple ways to connect the tail air. You can plug in the camera via the USB-C cable and start filming or you can connect via (NDI license which can be purchased separately) or even a USB to ethernet adapter.4. OBSBOT has a remote control for the system too, so you could control all features of the tail air from a distance that way, if your content limits that ability to use hand gestures.Those are just the quick good points.We use the camera as our main streaming camera. The tail air can integrate with our stream deck allowing us to have quick buttons for different angles of the room, different preset zoom points, and quick AI tracking. Since the tail air has all of these features, we have eliminated all the other cameras from our streaming setup.In the OBSBOT App you can control all camera settings, like your ISO, shutter speed, auto focus, white balance, and frame rates. You can even go as far as to apply your temperatures, brightness, contrast, saturation, and sharpness to the video being recorded.While the $499 price tag may seem high initially, I can assure you that you will not get this quality of camera, with all these features, for anywhere close to this amount anywhere else.

Great camera, easy to use and set up. I use it to live stream my son's baseball games thru Gamechanger. No issues at all, I'm able to stream the entire game with no problems and being able to set 4 different positions to get the pitcher/batter, each base line and a full field view makes for better viewing.

This camera guarantees that every detail is captured with incredible clarity, whether I'm on a Zoom chat with coworkers or generating material for my YouTube channel. The tracking and auto-focus capabilities enabled by AI are two of the most impressive aspects of this camera. It is quite similar to having a personal camera already installed on the device. No matter how much I move about, the camera is able to follow my motions and keep me on the screen thanks to its clever tracking capabilities. This comes in very handy during presentations and video conferences, when I want to seem professional but don't want to have to modify the camera angle all the time. Even if I move around or if there are numerous individuals in the picture, the auto-focus can keep everything in perfect focus because of its lightning-fast speed and pinpoint accuracy. The quality of my video footage as well as the quality of my online meetings have been greatly enhanced by this function alone. Another fantastic improvement is that there are now twin omnidirectional microphones included. The recording quality is excellent, and it captures my speech with an impressive degree of precision while simultaneously reducing the amount of ambient noise. Because of this, the audio quality of my video conversations and recordings has greatly improved, and I am now able to talk successfully without the assistance of an additional microphone.

LOVE IT. This webcam is incredibly simple to use. Except for learning the simple hand gestures to enable the auto-tracking, you really don't even need the instruction manual, it's that intuitive. Video quality is excellent and I have tried it in a variety of settings: business related SM recordings, Zoom meetings, low light, back light, contrasty light, and more. The auto-tracking is great, though I will say it can occasionally lose you if you move too quickly or suddenly jerk away from the camera (an issue I can't see coming up in most settings or Zoom calls.) The focal length of the lens is perfect for a huge variety of uses - you can do desktop Zoom calls or full body shots (like in an interactive yoga class) with little to no distortion. I also really like the ability to mount it on my desktop, on a normal tripod head, or just leave it freestanding on a desk or tabletop. Super lighweight and portable, and the case that is included provides great protection. So why not 5 stars? SOLELY an Amazon issue and that's pricing. The OBSBOT website has occasional sales and the difference between their sale price and the regular Amazon price can be substantial. I saved around $70 by returning the Amazon order and buying direct from the manufacturer. Yes, delivery took a day or two longer but I was totally ok with that. Frankly, after using it and seeing the quality of the webcam and the videos it creates, I'd actually be fine paying full price on Amazon - but why turn down a deal if you can get one?

The camera itself is not bad, but it is very far from the expectations that are based on its description. The price is also more or less reasonable. But here's the problem. When you try to return the camera, Amazon says that 30 days after receiving it, they will return something or nothing at all after their assessment, which is unclear what it evaluates and how exactly, and the return transaction will take some time more. That is, after 6 weeks you will find out that you will not get your money back and your purchase will not be returned to you. This is an amateur situation. For example, I decided to keep the camera, although I am dissatisfied with it. I also decided to never buy expensive things on Amazon again.
