Nikola Tesla was a true visionary, far ahead of his contemporaries in the field of scientific and technological development. His inventions and creations have literally transformed the world we live in today, as they possessed technology that was far in advance of his time. Quantum physicists are just now catching up with Tesla, his conceptions of wireless telecommunications, lasers, x-rays, radio wave broadcasting, a/c poly phase current, free energy, weather manipulation and more stagger the mind. But a great crime was perpetrated upon the world when Tesla died alone on January 7, 1943 at the age of 86, making it possible for the FBI to seize his papers, and belongings which have never been seen again. Among his missing possessions, there are possibly hundreds of far reaching creations that would have made the world the utopia of freedom that Tesla sought. This remarkable man, who claimed to have communicated with alien intelligences, was ultimately prevented from pursuing his greatest inventions by a ruling elite scared he would derail their systems of mass control, systems that our current political and corporate masters will not relinquish easily. Perhaps one day, Tesla's greatest inventions to be, will be rediscovered, and our planet will benefit once again from his genius.

A wonderful inventor
Tesla was a wonderful inventor, trying to make things for people free instead of charging them, free electricity, to help people, and he was discredited for a number of things, and he died in poverty

Tesla DVD, POOR
very Poor DVD; don't waste your money.Instead, buy Last Days of Night by Graham Moore; yes a book. All you need to know before reading the book is that Thomas Edison supported DC current for electric lighting. On the other hand, George Westinghouse supported AC current for electric lighting. DC current doesn't travel very far before you need additional generators to keep it going. Conversely, AC current travels very far and can be stepped up in power along the way without additional generating stations which are expensive. TESLA figures into both their lives, hence the book. You won't be disappointed. An easy enjoyable read. BTW, Thomas Edison was very wrong, but couldn't withdraw from DC current because of vested interests in DC.

Make up your own mind
The reason I gave this DVD five stars is because there is very little information on Tesla that is unclassified.I also think that I am old enough to appreciate the painstaking effort the makers have shown, to get this to market. The film does not gloss over the more controversial aspects of government science. It talks about what is known as thePhiladelphia experiment - making a naval craft invisible. It also mentions that Tesla may have been in communicationwith aliens. At the risk of being considered a crank or a loon, I will say I too have seen an alien once, while doing a shamanic exercise. It was in another dimension. I say this to explain why I am quite comfortable with the more far-out aspects of this great inventor'slife.
