Every complaint I may have had about this machine has been fixed in their newer model which I HIGHLY recomend buying (it came out after I bought this model sadly 💔.) This product makes yarn winding so much easier. Works well. It has amazing quality and durability. The size is perfect and it has a lot of speeds to work with.

Used it several times- worked well Keep an eye on the progress. Sometimes the yarn gets tang led and the whole contraption goes flying. But still very useful

It does not keep a strong tension and creates very large cakes but other than that u love it so much. It also stop if there’s too much tension from the original skein like a knot which I like.

I thought spending more money in an electric yarn winder would be better but its not!. This winder keeps stopping if theres any tension on the yarn which makes it annoying since YOU NEED the tension for it to wind properly!!!! It comes off of the holder constantly! This winder worked a lot better on my size 6 plushie type yarn. Anything below that it didnt wind properly or it took forever to wind because of the stopping and going and having to readjust the yarn falling off the ball as it spins.Didnt use it much because it was a frustrating process and unfortunately waited too long to return it!

I am absolutely stoked about this product! I used my magnetic yarn spinner to hold the skein and it wound it slowly and perfectly! I now have perfect cakes to make my current project much easier to manage. Very happy with this!! Highly recommend!!

Doesn’t work very well Can’t wind the thread without it tangling up

I bought this because I have bursitis in my shoulder and I had a lot of yarn to put away. First $60 bucks is a bit pricey for something is made 98% of plastic. I get why it would be because the constant spinning causes static electricity which I turn would make metal a conductor for painful shocks. However, the plastic could be made up of better materials. The spool stripped and even though it has high speeds, you better not because the spool is going to go flying off. I'm still using it because it's better than doing it by hand and being in pain. But it is a pain to use because you have to have it at the right speed with the yarn position in the right spot or it will no wrap properly.UPDATE: The manufacturer contacted me and offered me a full refund. I would feel guilty asking it because I still used it and was able to wind my yarn (albeit it took a lot of effort. I am changing my review from 2 to 3 stars because I was able to accomplish my goal but $60 is still to much for a predominantly plastic product. However; the maker was very attentive and concerned. Great unsolicited customer service, something you don't experience everyday anymore.
