If you are looking for really voluminous eyelashes I do not think this is a right choice. This metallic MaxiCare just to your eyelashes about every other drugstore Mascara would have done (in terms of volume). As the picture shows, the applied lashes are darker but not what other product cannot do.However, this mascara exceeds my expectation on few things-Price reasonable as you are getting refill set as well-The metallic brush- very fine so there is no clumping. Perfect for no makeup -makeup look. Also you can wash as it is a metal.-The mascara itself- good quality, natural black, stains well and it waterproof. I can literally swim with this mascara on. There is no smudging at all. I can tell this why because I washed my face wash and yet these eyelashes were still in my eyelashes and no black stain anywhere in my face.-The package is cute pink, giftable.

This is a spectacular choice for gifting! I adore this mascara wand, which you can keep for a long time and refill. It contains gentle, eye-friendly mascara that doesn't clump, shed, flake, or smear. It might get wet, but not much stuff to run all over your face. I have the Brown/Black version, and it is perfect with my dark blonde/light brown hair, light complexion, and scant ash brows. It is a much heavier item relative to other mascara wands, and it is for keeps. You will get used to it fast. Whatever you like, this is different from that. There are no bristles, the wand is skinny, and the combing threads over a rigid metal material are washable and reusable. There are no loose parts or anything to break. You can sanitize, too, if you want! This makeup and tube is unique, and I love it. I don't miss the regular brush/comb that you might be used to with most mascaras. This formula comes out wet and stays on the wand to impart color if you rest it over the base of your lashes and brush back and forth before pulling through to the tips or ends of your lash hairs. Then, it dries nicely. And then, you wash the wand whenever you want.I found this easy to remove with conventional/traditional solutions. I used makeup remover towelettes, and there was no issue. The color lasts a while, and you can have more oomph using eyeliner. It will get some noticeable effects alone, and I love that it will not look garish; it will just look natural. Some people will want more and might need another item instead. You might not like this one if you wish to the clumps, thick stuff, and length mascara formulas. I used to have trouble getting a natural look and didn't realize how fake I looked. Now, I won't look back. I discovered that wisdom around a year ago when I saw a closeup of myself.As I said above, this is an excellent gift item. I'd use the supplied box because it is perfect. I might have it sent directly or present it in a custom box in person.This is a bit pricey, but it is worth the investment. This is also for many women who seem to have everything.Enjoy!

My GF was quite happy to receive this NEOGENDERMALOGY Extra Slim Metal Maxicara + Refill SET.She said she def liked the mascara itself, but the hard metal wand took some adjusting to.She noted the mascara was a top-quality product that didn't clump, flake, separate or smear, and it was wet out of the container, then dried up quickly and smoothly.Moreover, it would last for a full day and change.Four and a half stars, rounding up to five stars due to the refill!

I’m not sure where I stand yet in the skinny metal wand crazy. I bought this to try and I don’t love it or hate it. I did realize quickly how much I rely on my brushes to unclump my lashes and you definitely can’t do that with this wand.What is does to your lashes is interesting, worth trying I’d say, but this is not a “game changer” for me, it’s not replacing any of my favorite mascaras. It’s more of a novelty item I’ll pull out and be like “yeah let’s try that one again” today.

This is a really unique metal wand - never tried anything like this. It immediately reduces excess so that only the amount needed to apply is deposited on my lashes with no excess or clumping. Really super definition on even my tiniest of lashes. I love that I can apply above and below the lashes with no clumping or accidental smudges. Lasts all day at work. I love the self-standing bottle with the pretty decorative top. Other formula refills are available, and I can just swap the metal wand to the new bottle. An additional refill bottle is included, which is really nice. I love Korean based Skincare and makeup products, and this did not disappoint.
