Useful
There are times when I need to measure furniture or room spaces when nobody is around to help me, and trying to use a cloth or even metal tape measure is too awkward. This item neatly solves the problem. I especially like how you only have to pull out what you need and not deal with a long measuring stick, and each piece clicks into position (open orclosed) so it's easy to work with. I also like how compact it is to store.

Not what I expected
Rules is not 1.5 wide

Good as long as you’re not measuring over 32 inches
Ruler duplicates one section which renders it useless. I’m hoping it’s a flaw in just one because I just ordered a replacement. Hate having to make returns as it’s out of my way.
