Doesn't detect gas. Dangerous.
I smelt gas, the alarm didn't go off.I smelt more gas, the alarm still didn't go off.The Gas company came out and confirmed that was a gas leak, the alarm still didn't go off.The gas got shut off and this useless piece of rubbish went in the bin.It's dangerous as it gives you a false sense of security.Don't trust yours or your family's safety to this.

Installed this next to my GCH boiler. Better safe than sorry!Tested by letting some gas out of a lighter near the sensor to prove it works and the alarm sound is plenty loud enough.
