Good Utility for XLR to XLR Mini
Needed this for my Shure Mini headset for conversion for XLR to XLR mini to use the headset with my Focusrite Audio Adapter

QIANRENON XLR Male to Mini XLR Female Audio Converter Adapter
This adapter allows for the use of a more robust standard size cable. My only concern is that this adapter is larger in diameter and heavier than the mini connector and I wonder if this could eventually overstress the mini microphone boom connection. A possible resolution might be to insert a mini male to mini female jumper between the adapter on the main line cable and the boom mike connector.

Several bad issues with this microphone..
Firstly, it's just dumb that this mic doesn't come with a standard XLR plug like every other dynamic microphone. -If you want to plug this mic directly into an amp or PA system, you'll need to purchase this adapter on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CPJ6GDPG?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1Secondly (and just as dumb), there is no on/off switch on the mic, so your listeners are subjected to a lot of raunchy irritating noises whenever you adjust the headset and especially when you're putting it on and taking it off. Thirdly, the bendable boom with the mic at the end is too short to properly adjust it. You'd think that Shure would have enough sense to make the length of the boom adjustable, or at least make it an inch or two longer. -As it stands, the boom is so short, you can bearly adjust it for singing without the mic rubbing up against your mouth. Also this is a dynamic mic, which means it's unidirectional (works best when vocals are sung directly in to the front of the mic. The boom is too short to position the mic that way, so you can only adjust it so you are singing into the SIDE of the mic, not the front, and unidirectional mics are not designed to pick up sound well from the side. Long story short, I returned mine for a refund.Shame on Shure for just being so thoughtless. Don't these companies TEST their products and work out these kinds of bugs before mass-producing them anymore? Apparently not. -They're more interested in just taking your money than they are in giving you a sensible product that works the way it SHOULD for you. Time to shop for something not so user-unfriendly.

Not a very good adapter
It did not seem to work the way I wanted to. When used with a mini xlr mic with my mixer, I could not hear my voice until the mic was on my mouth while talking.

Does not work!
Plugged two different mini XLR mics I own into this adapter and then into my audio interface and I get this nasty buzz and no actual sound of my voice. It's useless...
