INITIAL REVIEWThis review is being written after several days use of the skimmer net. Ultimately I won't know the REAL value of the product until I've used it for a full season. Durability is critically important in a skimmer net!So far, this is a TERRIFIC skimmer net. It fits the pole properly with no issues. It works great for picking up surface debris. It works even better for picking up debris on the bottom of my fiberglass pool. The "scooping front edge" even allows picking up precipitated chemical flakes on the bottom of the pool, which was a total surprise to me. The mesh size of the net is perfect. The attachment of the mesh to the plastic frame seems very secure.The ONLY negative thing I have to say is that the color is too bright and jarring. It would have been better if the color were a darker, calmer blue (like the ocean).

This skimmer is great. It is heavy duty and does not bend or flex while skimming. Perfect surface size, not too bog, or small. Very happy with this. Price was great also for the quality can not speak on the quality of the net yet, but it is a very nice mesh.

Im on my third one. I like this net because it strains out very fine debris from pool. Additionally, the plastic frame serms to hold up well. Plus the price is great. However, the netting material does NOT last long. Im in Arizona, and the material only lasts about one summer, if that. The netting is kind of like a slighty thicker nylon pantyhose. Sorry, cant compare to anything else. The sun will eventually make the material rip, since its thin. But it works well to skim pool until I need a new one.

Large, sturdy and well made. A fine mesh skimmer, catches even the smallest of creatures that land in the pool.

After using my old pool net for about a year, it started to wear out, so I began searching for a replacement. I found a suitable option on Amazon after conducting a thorough search. I chose this net based on positive reviews and its design. The net appears to be well-made and has a double-netted feature to effectively catch tiny particles. The plastic tab at the bottom of the net is a significant improvement, as it prevents the contents from spilling out when emptying the net. Additionally, the plastic snap locks easily attach to my aluminum pool pole, making installation a breeze. Overall, I am impressed with the value for money and the quality of this product, and I would recommend it to others.

This looked good but It did not even hold together for one summer. We didn't use this net often because we still had out old one. But the net tore before the summer was over.The company contacted us and replaced the one we had. Very good customer service.

I bought this about a year ago. It is nice and wide, and easily scoops small debris from the bottom. The netting finally degraded after 1 year. I would have bought a 2nd one except I am trying one of similar size but a finer mesh to see if I like the finer mesh. 5 stars for price, 4 stars for longevity, but I went ahead and rounded up

The POOLWHALE Telescopic Leaf Net Skimmer is functional, but it’s not the highest quality I’ve come across. The telescopic pole does not extend to the bottom of a 5-foot pool and feels flimsy when fully extended, making it harder to control.The mesh does an okay job of catching leaves and small debris, though I noticed it can sometimes let finer particles slip through. The net attachment to the pole isn’t as sturdy as I’d like, and it feels like it could loosen with frequent use.Overall, it gets the job done, but if you’re looking for something heavy-duty or long-lasting, you might want to consider other options. It’s decent for occasional use but doesn’t feel built to last.

It is a sturdy piece, fits perfectly well and does its job nicely. Nothing wrong with the quality or finish. Haven’t had it for long to say if its color fades out. Recommend it so far.
