I got this to prune my old apple tree. It dealt with all the top shoots easily, then chopped them down to kindling size. Now I’m looking for anything to prune because it’s so easy to use. Charging is quite fast. Just watch your fingers!

This item is extremely useful, I saw someone in social meadia used the similar one so went to Amazon to find one, this item is different brand with the one I saw and much cheaper (only 1/3 the price with other brands).I bought this mainly due to low price and didn’t think much as if it doesn’t work, I could return as per Amazon T&C but it worked!! I could not only use to trim trees but also for DIY works as well as it cut metal perfectly and quickly as you could see on the video!Totally recommend to anyone!

This is a game changer for me as I have arthritis in my fingers, this makes pruning in the garden so easy. I’ve used it on willow, myrtle, oak and rose bushes and it had no problem with any of them. Just keep your other hand and fingers well away when using it.

These just arrived and I have to say 'wow'. Just tried them out and was easily cutting branches up to an inch thick and by flexing the branch could even get it to cut upto 1 1/2 inches. When powered on it waits in the open position with no safety switch - so take serious care. When not using it and moving to other branches I pulled the battery so there was no risk of loosing fingers. Very happy with it but with a light trigger pressure you need to be very careful how you hold it when not using. Don't know if other makes have a safety switch or not. Despite all the pictures suggesting otherwise, the unit comes with 1 battery - which luckily is the same size as the small hand chain saw pruner I have so now have 2 tools with 3 batteries.

need to return this unused item- just discover it can cut padlocks (that's what l need it for)
