Looks different, but works fine.
Okay, it works. It was not the same as the one that came out, but I can find no replacement that looks like the OEM, even the GM branded one. However, it fits in the slot and screws up tight. Blower now works as it should. So I'm satisfied.

AC only blowing on high
The AC in my 2012 F-150 was only blowing on high (level 4), so I purchased this part a few weeks ago. It was a quick and easy install, and the AC has been working great since, pushing air at all 4 levels.

Works fine along with some ideas that might help you!
This is my second one in just under 3 years (35 months to be exact). Now supposedly there is a limited lifetime warranty but I did not test that because I needed a new one quick and for $20 bucks I figured to heck with it, let's get it going. The only ding I'll give it is on longevity but everything else works exactly as anticipated. It fits perfect and matches the OEM version in terms of function. Doesn't seem to cause any more noise or anything. Here are a few things I learned with this:1. Unlike the Honda original, this original replacement failed closed, which is interesting because that means the rear blower motor just kept blowing no matter what the switch was doing. The original honda one failed open meaning nothing came out of the back regardless of configuration of switches. I kind of like the fail closed more because at least there was air of out back, however, there was no way to shut it off, at all.... Even shutting off the front did nothing.2. These are cheap parts and mine only lasted 35 months. You might be able to test the warranty, hard to say. Don't expect one as good as the original Honda part which is much more expensive. I figured I could replace this one 4 times at least before I got up to the cost of the Honda original so to me it was worth it. YMMV.3. Getting this in and out is super easy. Just make sure to retract the driver's seat all the way, and remember it is hooked up front so undo the tabs that hold it onto the center console, then pull back slightly. Don't force the front off or you'll break it.My final tip is if any of the tabs are loose you can re-bend the metal OR if you break one you can actually use tape and build up a small tab again that won't rattle and will fit tight.Good luck!
