Every element of this artwork is made by a true artisan. A sculpture of airy design from strong materials. As steel and rock, it is heavy which is an advantage in maintaining placement and ensuring durability. Clean design with maker’s hand evident in visible welds and craftsmanship. The wind spinner is precisely balanced, allowing slightest breeze to gently rotate. Ours is placed in a patio focal area backed by various dune grasses which provide a break from strong winds. I’ve worked documenting metal artisans and their works from a hand span to 30’ tall. This sculpture is airy, soothing, meditative while anchored to the elements. Meant to be in its natural state, we did not poly coat, allowing the steel to develop its natural deep ochre color. American steel has been used to create everything from the Statue of Liberty to everyday skillets, from WWII battleships to the Eiffel Tower. Enjoy a new and peaceful incarnation.

Love this thing! I was afraid it would get blown off easily, but not so. I should be able to leave this outside in everything but the worst windstorms. We live on the water and get a lot of wind. If you do NOT want this to rust, instructions are included. Mine is patinating very quickly, I’ve had it less than a week, and I really like it. Blends right in with the environment. This spinner doesn’t “spin” as much as it floats. It really is a nice yard ornament, and well worth the price compared to most of the flimsy wind spinners available now.

This is the perfect addition for my Zen garden. It's sturdy and substantial. I gave it only 4 stars because I have had it only a week and it is rusting like crazy. Maybe spray a clear coat on it right from the beginning and that might prevent this.

It is absolutely beautiful! Very well made and much heavier than expected. Looking forward to it weathering over time to a rust color.

The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical before ordering as I was afraid that it might be flimsy, but trust with Amazon return system and went ahead ordering this item. Pleasantly surprise with nice quality. Very sturdy as described and I highly recommend this piece. We got the bare steel, we won’t do any paint or treat with anything. It’s normal all metal can get rusted in Arizona, but it wont rotted like in the states have more rain and snow.

I love the look of this. Immediately, I sealed it with a clear, matte Rustoleum. Two weeks in, rust is baaad. Took a black spray of Rustoleum, hoping it would be better. Well, bad rust at joints. Disappointed...not cheap, but rusted so quickly ... I would not recommend.
