My 1.5 year old cat is a major chewer and he really likes these toys. I thought he would like chewing on the middle rope section but he mostly likes chewing on the frayed ends and the gall fruit. You can also dangle and wiggle it for him for some pouncing play. Unfortunately, it hasn't stopped him from chewing on other stuff in the house (like my rugs) but he does enjoy playing with these.

This three pack of rope toy is played with by four of the five cats. The oldest one doesn't seem to like these long, thick rope toys very much. We think she's part Turkish Angora and we know that she doesn't like any toys that look like snakes (but surprisingly never tried putting a cucumber near her!) and have a wooden snake that isn't really a cat toy, but it's built in segments so it kind of moves like a snake. She always runs away as soon as she sees it and we've never scared or tormented her, so maybe it's part of her breed's (desert cat?) instinct to know that snakes are dangerous and to avoid them!Anyways, the other four are fine with these rope toys and maybe they're getting their teeth cleaned a little as they bite and kick the rope!

The cats love this toy. They play with it all the time. Its great for they teeth.

I have 2 cats who usually like very different toys and have very different play styles. As soon as I gave my cats this toy they both instantly loved it!

Kitten was a huge fan right away (I’m sure in part because it was packaged with so much catnip). Hoping this keeps her away from cords…

My cats have enjoyed playing with these toys but I am a little disappointed. I was hoping the ropes would hold shape and they don't. I tried to make a corkscrew with one of the ropes as shown in the picture. The ropes don't hold this shape at all. In fact the only thing I could do with the ropes was leave them in a straight line or tie them in a large knot. The catnip is enough to attract my cats and they still played with them. I dipped one end of the ropes with catnip which is included and the cats had fun from there on out. The ropes are sturdy, durable, and great for teething. But as far as making different shapes with the ropes, this set falls short in that aspect.
