great insert
Fits the Apache case amazingly. Nice sturdy foam is used and holds my gear snug. Comes pre-cut but not pre-removed, some of the magazine slots are a little trouble to get removed without trying to damage other foam. Do appreciate that the magazine slots are 2 stages so you can take out a little for .22 magazine that are thin, or both pieces to snug fit double stack mags as well. Happy with the purchase. for the price of this and getting a case on sale... cheaper than some of the premade cases on here

Nice, solid foam upgrade for inexpensive HF case/reasonable cost
Fit well and less expensive than many alternatives. MUCH more solid than foam sold in the case. Seems to be holding up well. Very useful for range trips.

Organizes your Apache 2800 case perfectly for the range.
You think, it’s just foam, right? How long could it take to install in the Apache 2800?Longer than you think! This kit wholly replaces the foam that’s in the Apache hard case, replacing it with a hard foam, pre-cut system for organizing your equipment at the gun range. What particularly great about this is the removable extra magazine foam on the right side; if you have a huge number of mags, keep the foam in place. The core foam area will already hold nine magazines for three pistols. The added area to the right will hold a bunch more (so many I didn’t count!).However, remove those and you now have accessory wells, which I used for m quick loaders and ammunition packs for the range. The wells in total are probably big enough, if entirely removed, to also hold a pair of earmuffs and protective goggles as well. The organization is completely up to you— but save the foam you removed because you can easily add it back in later should you want to carry those extra magazines— removing the foam on the right isn’t destructive, so it’s a bit like puzzle pieces you’ve just put in temporary storage.Since the foam lower portion is all glued together, it’s a tight squeeze to get the mag wells clear; have a pair of needle nose pliers handy to pull that part free. The foam there is cut in two places so if you have a thin single-stack magazine, you only need to remove one half of it for a nice tight fit.By having your equipment stacked upright, you can also easily keep them open and run a mag lock in it for visibility if transporting by air. Or on the range, you can have your empty chamber flags visible when you open the case to make your friendly RSO relax a bit.Is it expensive? I think so, a bit. But the foam has been designed well, is modular and likely will be a one-time purchase. So if you want an organized case, this is an excellent option overall.

Good quality
This is a good product, I'm mostly happy with my purchase, only two downsides are the price is a little high compared to the case these are meant for. Alos had to glue some of the layers to keep from moving. Otherwise it's a massive improvement from the original foam that comes with the case.

I think it will work out well and better foam then stock, slight rip, but won't impact
Mine has a slight tear on the bottom, but don't think that will impact it's use at all. 9 magazine holders if you are using the open part for hearing/glasses/ammo I guess, pretty coool. the larger space on the right, will hold 1 pair of over ear protection, glasses, gloves and other small needs. Can carry 2 firearms with a holster occupying the center firearm spot, if you want it all in one package..Foam is so much better than the stock crud..

Great upgrade for an already solid case.
I got the Apache 3800 case because it was cheap, solid and figured out would be good enough to transport my pew pews. For the most part it worked ok but the foam is cheap pull apart stuff that just didn't hold well. The foam in this really nice and holds everything really tight (for now, hope it lasts). Easy to open slots and is a perfect for for the 3800. May get double sided tape to keep it in place but other than that I'm pretty happy with the purchase.

Value and quality for product
Purchased the apache 3800 hard case for my pistols. The foam pic and shape was a poor design. I saw this and the 3 pistol insert was ideal for my use. Fits the case perfectly and was easy to configure for 3 pistols, 2 sign and 2 ruger.Magazines for all three fit well and the stiffness of this insert was just what I needed. Time will tell if it holds up. I would buy again.
