This dehumidifier is amazing!
I love this dehumidifier! It is an absolute workhorse. I have a Michigan basement and this machine does its job plus! It looks nice, easy to use, quiet and like I said it is a workhorse!! Pulls that damp air right out of my basement and if feels drier than it has ever been and smells better too.Thank you for making this fantastic product!!! 5 stars plus.

Great for high humidity environments
I recently purchased the Uhome 120 Pints Dehumidifier on Amazon after a disappointing experience with a different, inferior model. Living right on the beach, I deal with extremely high humidity, and this dehumidifier has truly impressed me by effectively bringing down the humidity throughout my entire one-bedroom apartment. One thing to note is that it does emit warm air, which is not ideal, but I understand that this is typical for dehumidifiers as part of their process. So, I won’t deduct any points for that. What really stands out is how quickly it reduces the humidity—faster than I expected. While it doesn’t come with the flashy lights that my previous unit had, this dehumidifier more than makes up for it by getting the job done efficiently. It’s well worth the money spent. The only downside was the slower shipping, as I had to wait a couple of weeks for it to arrive. However, it was definitely worth the wait.Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone needing a reliable dehumidifier, especially in high-humidity environments like mine.

So Far So Good
First, it is important to heed the manufacturer's instruction to wait 24 hours before plugging the unit in. I know; its brand new and you are eager to see it work, but resist the temptation to go ahead and plug it in without waiting. DO NOT DO IT! For several technical reasons, not waiting could either cause the unit to not work properly, or damage the compressor! With that out of the way, on to the review. The unit is well packaged, so it arrived without damage. The manual is well written, and the dehumidifier controls are logically arranged. I had no problem with set up and operation. I need the pump operation to move the condensed water up and then eventually to a drain. The supplied piece of clear tubing was not long enough, so I had purchased some 1/4" polyethylene line that I thought would just plug into the back of the unit, as was the case on my previous dehumidifier. However, the 1/4" hard plastic line did NOT fit. Fortunately, the supplied clear vinyl tubing slipped over my 1/4" line with a nice tight fit, and it of course pushed onto the water condensate fitting on the back of the unit. No problem!Time will tell about the reliability of the dehumidifier, but so far I am pleased. Installation and setup was fast and easy, and the price is very good for the advertised capacity.

Dramatic improvement in a small room, apart from the water it spits out the back
Three and a half months in, using this in an 11 sq m/120 sq ft room cooled by a mini-split air-con unit, and I can say it does significantly change the comfort in my home office. In one way, it's been a life-saver in making the small building habitable during hot and humid months, keeping the humidity level at about 50%, which is plenty good enough with the room temp being 25C/77F. Before this unit, the mini-split air con regularly had the humidity in here at 70+%, often higher than outdoors and just too sticky to comfortably work in. In that sense, the UHome unit has been transformative. The major downside now is that it has started leaking water out of the bottom just above the power cable way before the tank fills, and there are regular instances of it icing up on occasion and leaking water everywhere. I now have to keep the unit sitting in a shallow storage container. I've cleaned the filter, run the unit's self-cleaning function several times, and given it more space from the wall (all factors in dehumidifiers icing up), to no avail.I suspect the humidity sensor is not functioning correctly (the blower fan seems OK, judging by air output, and these are the two most common issues), which is a bad look after not even four months. When this machine works, it's lovely. When it doesn't, you come home to puddles and another problem to deal with. If you're up for regular maintenance to save some money, I can see where this unit would serve you well. Otherwise, upgrade because one gets what one pays for here.

Works great
This machine works great however it is a little small and you have to keep emptying the container a lot during the day. So I actually hooked it up to a drain using the drainage hose and it really works very nicely.

Deceiving water collection size.
It says in add 1.5 gal but in reality the actually manual water collection size is .58. Otherwise had some trouble getting it to work correctly ( had to turn off/ reset it before it actually collected moisture from air. Fairly quiet. I question the sq footage of the machines capacity.

Works Well
Works very well. I dont use the include water pump, I just pull the tray out and dump it. Before I purchased my humidity levels were getting above 60%. I put this in a central location on the 1st floor and it keeps it below 55%. I also noticed my 2nd floor readings have dropped a couple of % points as well. Not loud for what it is. You are going to hear it running, but its not any louder than a table top fan.
