Pictures are misleading, also my fault for not reading. using a kids hands in pictures. i thought it was a right angle that you would use but with an extra part. I Hate products with misleading pictures.

Precision made of quality materials but small
This is precision made of quality materials but is quit small. Additionally, the measurement increments are in metric which could be a detractor for many. I would love if they made this in a 6" to 8" version with imperial/standard measurement increments.

Nice Tool But Has One Unacceptable (For Me) Flaw
I am far from a professional woodworker, but I like to try new and challenging projects. That is why I am always on the lookout for any tools that will help me improve the looks and quality of my projects. One such tool is the square protractor. And since most of my projects are relatively small, I thought this particular square protractor would suit my needs. And it does – to a point. The first thing to keep in mind about this square protractor before buying it is that it is very small. One leg is just over 3” long, the other leg is about 3-3/8” long, and height is about 4-3/8”. Its small size does not mean it cannot be used for larger projects, but it may make them more challenging than using a larger square protractor.Having said that, what I like about this square protractor is…1) The white numbers and one-millimeter hash marks are laser engraved on a (in my case) red anodized background making them sharp and easy to read even though the numbers are necessarily small due to the overall small size of the protractor. Also, I have had no problem with the numbers or hash marks being “washed out” by light reflecting off the red surface. That is a plus.2) Given the triangular shape of the square, the 90-degree angle on the top of the project I am working on is instantly carried around to the side. It also allows me to mark 45-degree angles without repositioning the square.3) The hash marks engraved on the leg allow me to measure the distance down from the surface of my project without having to use a separate tape measure. (But see below for a problem concerning this).4) The square protractor can be separated into two separate pieces allowing it to be carried in a pocket or small container. However, this also comes with a slight risk. The two screws that hold the pieces together, which are small, could be easily lost if you are not careful as could the Allen wrench that comes with the square that is used to assemble it.5) Parallel lines can be drawn on your work surface in 1-millimeter increments from 10 millimeters to 65 millimeters by using the holes cut into the body of square. This precision of accuracy is impressive, but bear in mind that a mechanical pencil must be used to utilize this feature. The body and lead in a typical pencil is too large to use.Yet, there is one thing that I do not like about this square protractor, and it is a deal breaker…1) All the measurements on this square protractor are in the Metric system. I have seen dual measurement systems, English and Metric, engraved on tools like this, but never one that lacked the standard English system, i.e. inches. If I had noticed that before I ordered this square, I would not have ordered it. It still has some value for me because I will not use it exclusively for measurements, but I did take away one Star because of this.
