Premium Craftsmanship and Quality
This is my second pair of BD phones. I purchased the DT880 Premium Edition back in 2021, and was very happy with them. They are semi-open, so they had the advantage of less ear fatigue after many hours of mixing. But the left side suddenly stopped producing a signal and I was past the warranty date, so while I wait for that pair to get repaired, I figured I better find a replacement.I spent several hours researching and reading reviews. After concluding that I am very happy with the weight and fit of the BD brand, I decided to stick with them, despite the premature failing of my previous pair. I went with the DT770 Pro X this time, the closed back means I'll be sacrificing the ear fatigue for a tighter soundstage.I'm a producer/composer and spend about 10 hours every day at my mixing desk. I occasionally use my Adam A5 desk monitors, but end up doing most of my mixing through the cans. But I'm not officially an audiophile, and I'm not that techy, so I won't give specs on frequency range or other details. Suffice to say, these headphones sound incredible. Solid low-end and very crisp, clear highs. My mixes have never sounded better. The BD headphones tend to have a very flat frequency response, so what you hear in your cans is well-represented across other sound sources. Your mixes won't end up colored with too much bass or high mids when you go to do the car test. These drivers appear to be more powerful than the DT880 also, I find I am leaving the volume knob on my interface between 10:00 and 1:00 instead of cranked up to 3:00 as they often were with the DT880. That could be an ohmage factor, though. Like I said, not that techy. My favorite feature of these phones are the comfort (the velour ear pads are supreme. I can't abide the sticky faux leather/protein material other brands use). They are very snug, but don't clamp your head, and the headband has an extra recess at the peak so it doesn't press down on the peak of your head. I sometimes forget I am wearing them.I also appreciate the classic looks of the phones. One reason I never purchased the Sennheiser brand (I do own Sony, AT, AKG and Samson headphones as well), is their odd ear cup shape. I don't want to look like a weird alien has attached itself to my head. The detachable cable is a big plus too. I'd hate to have to replace $200 headphones because a $3 part failed.Someone else mentioned in their review that if someone told them this is what $1000 headphones sounded like, they wouldn't be surprised. I think these cans punch way above their weight and I'll be recommending them to all my home studio buddies.

Treble Reducer and chefs kiss
After lowering the treble and messing with the pre-amplifier in the Peace software, hands down amazing. If sound quality gets better than this, I have a lot more to look forward to. With some EQ (I’m sensitive to trebles) these earphones are phenomenal. Without EQ, I don’t think I could use these headphones due to the sharp treble. The bass isn’t a thud but more so a sound. A pleasant sound of the vibrations at different levels.Like the sound feels so full and alive. I’m not an audiophile, but I can make out the instruments, and it’s just such a surreal experience. This is my first studio headset coming from a Bose NC 700 for general use and the RIG 700 Pro HS for my gaming console. For the money, I don’t know if something could beat this by a lot. My motherboard has an integrated amplifier, so that could be a factor, but I don’t know.I’m still learning how all of these things fit together, but this is my favorite headset right now. A bit hard to listen to my older ones unless I’m in the mood for bass. Also hard to put these down because they sound amazing.I’m really blown away. Also I never really write reviews, so this saying something.Okay. I got it. I know how to describe it for my first term with a headset like this. It’s like I’m there at the concert… in the room… wow..I think this what people mean when they speak of the soundstage. I can’t uplift this headset enough. It looks good. It’s super comfortable. It’s good value for the cost.Okay. I’m done. Just wanted to give the information at a different level as it it may be helpful!

Great comfort, audio & build quality! Love them
To start I just wanna say that the little divot on the top of the headband helps much more than I was expecting. It alleviates any pressure on the top of my head while wearing these for a long time, which is a big issue I have with almost every other headset and headphones I’ve ever owned. As for the audio, it definitely starts off kind of harsh sounding for the treble but I either got used to it or the drivers broke in after using them for a bit. Either way, I really enjoy using them for both gaming and music listening now (metal, rock, etc.). I can differentiate sounds like footsteps with these a lot better than other closed back headphones I’ve tried but at the same time I don’t think they’ll make too much of a difference in that regard. Still gonna die a ton in whichever games I play lol. Open back headphones might be better in that regard, but I have too much noise going on in my house for those. Now for build quality, I absolutely love that I can replace everything that might possibly wear out on these. Gross ear cups? Easily replaceable. Flaky headband? Easily replaceable. Ran over the cable with your chair one too many times? Easily replaceable! All in all, I highly recommend these if you want comfy headphones that have great audio and will last you a very long time

Nice headphones
I purchased these due to my steel series nova pros randomly dropping audio I picked these up and they are super comfortable and for performance the sound quality is good I honestly expected better but they are still good. Most people claim you don’t need a dac or amp which in my case I did I only game with them and since I’m on pc I tried the audio jacks that’s built into the pc and even though these are only 45ohm it didn’t seem like it was enough. I bought a sound blaster x4 and it really woke these headphones up. I have normal size ears so not big nor small and my ears fit perfectly inside of the cups. There is no clamping pressure on my head either I played for 6 hours and it didn’t bother me one bit. They wasn’t hot nor made my ears sore like the nova pros did after hours of gaming. As for stability they are well built and don’t feel too cheap. Value for money only time will tell these are still new to me and I’ll update later on if anything arises.
