Very nice tree pole saw – should have bought it sooner - highly recommended!
The media could not be loaded. This is a terrific tool – I love it.The trees in my yard that were once 5 feet tall are in some cases taller than my 2-story house. So, they are 25 feet or higher. And once they reached that height, I’ve either had to hire someone to come do some periodic pruning or just live with whatever is going on up that high. Because I didn’t have a way to handle it myself. And that’s not ideal because it can be expensive to pay, but ugly to wait – so lose, lose.Until now! I purchased this pole saw in hopes of finally be able to take care of such needs myself – and affordably. The only mistake I made was waiting this long to do so.I had previously checked out some offerings of a similar product at a local store. They had something kind of like it for a little cheaper. But it was not nearly as capable of reaching such high limbs, but also clearly not made to last – looked like it would fall apart after one or two uses. So, I chose to buy this one. It is WAY better in every way and the price was great! It came in a canvas carrying bag that feels very heavy duty and made to last. It has multiple sections that screw together with high-quality connections. And it is scalable so you can make the pole as short as only about 6 feet but up to 30 depending on your needs. The bottom section has the hand grips for you to use. And the top part is the saw attachment that cuts the limb. And it has TWO of those. One is a blade while the other is a blade that has a grabbing mechanism in addition to the blade as well as a rope to use if you choose to go that route. You can do it either way.In addition to all of that, it came with a page of instructions on how to assembly it. And also how to clean it up after each use to help make it last longer as well as not spread tree disease or such. In total, it also has THREE cutting blades. One is already mounted on the top section without the grip. The other 2 can be used however you wish. And these blades seem to be very well made. They cut really well and are heavy duty. They also seem very flexible and resilient – which is good to not bend permanently and to not get jammed while sawing.Out of the bag, I had a working tool assembled in literally less than a minute and knew what to do. At the front of my house, I have crape myrtle trees that have grown up taller than my 2nd floor gutters. And unfortunately, some of those limbs were starting to hit my gutters destructively. I needed to saw them – now I could! On my first attempt (shown in the video), things went perfectly. The curved saw blade cut right through. These trees have a lot of moisture internally and are healthy – so other blades sometimes tend to jam. Not this one. I found that the pulling action really made rapid progress. It was good exercise for muscles I don’t always use these days, but it was actually very easy and I had my first limb removed quickly. Note that my first cut limb, it tore away near the bottom of the cut and the photo shows that. That is just a natural thing to expect. I didn’t show in the photos, but I was able to put the saw back on that “left-over” bit and clean it up perfect – literally took about 10 extra seconds of attention. At this point the neighbors (the mom and her son) came over and asked to use the saw on their large tree. They had some dead branches that really needed to be removed before they eventually fell and landed on someone’s head (seriously – big and dangerous). Each of them took a try and promptly cleaned up a handful of previously dangerous limbs. Some were 10 feet high; others were 28 feet up or higher. They were as pleased as I was at how great it worked.I proceeded then to clean up several other limbs that needed removal. The saw was easy to change in length and never failed to cut through. When I was done, I followed the instructions to disinfect the blade first, and then lubricate/clean it with WD40. That was easy. It dissembled easily and fit right back into the bag.The only thing I can even think to complain about this entire purchase is related to the instructions for that the top part that has the grabbing piece and a rope. And even then, the part itself is great (no worries). But its just about the instructions…they really didn’t cover how to assemble that or use it. But I was able to easily figure that out by looking at it. It works great. If you have some limbs you want to handle yourself and save a lot of money (and maybe maintain safety from them falling – get this tool – don’t wait!Great item and highly recommended!

11 out of 10 stars GREAT Quality GREAT tool
I love this pole saw. The quality and the ability to cut through the branches was WAY beyond all of my expectations for this pole saw. I have been wanting to trim our neighbors tree that drops these terrible round ball like with porcupine needles like things on them. You trip over them and it is just awful. This afternoon my wish came true and I was able to trim the tree way, way way up in the tree. Thank you so much for this wonderful product. So happy with my purchase of your tool.

Overall major dissapointment
I read all the glowing reviews of this product but they are misleading ! The pole system a great concept but even when only partially assembled it is very heavy, difficult to control and bends under its own weight. The pulley system in concept it a great idea but the pull rope is very thin and slips out of the pulley rope groves jamming the pruner in the closed position. They should have designed the pulleys with a rope guard to keep it in place. If it does happen to cut a branch the loaper mechanism jams with leaves and the trimmed branch. Clearing either the pulley system or the jammed loaper requires the pole to be taken down and cleared by hand. This an issues because of the units weight. all in all very very disappointed - the unit was returned to Amazon !

The yellow one awesome, the blue one not so much
The media could not be loaded. I ordered these both at the same time. Unfortunately for the blue one, the yellow came first and i fell in love. Then the blue came and i was amazed at the inferiority of the quality. That one got two stars, this one 5. Best pole saw i have ever used. All the past ones were short consumer grade crap like the fiskars i returned to costco a few times. They even sent me a letter saying a recall had been issued on the second. This yellow one is worth the money so far and i am hoping it will last. I see no reason it wouldnt.

Nice pole saw
Nice pole saw. I've used it quite a bit its sharp and has plenty of reach. Only wished the storage bag was a little bigger because it is hard to get everything in it without a bit of struggling.

Great for tree trimming
Used this pole saw to remove a dead limb. 6 inches in diameter. It was hard work, but the blade didn’t catch and it took about 15 minutes of sawing in footlong strokes from about 22 feet below. Way cheaper than an arborist. It was easy to assemble and came with three blades and the pruner. The rubber on the grips smell like gasoline, be sure to wash hands after use.

Reach!!
Yes the pole bends but it works excellent. Cut down a 45 ft tree close to house with this. Has sharp blades included and saved me tons of money not having to hire this done.

Be careful what you ask for
The pruning kit cuts well. I have a tree that has grown very tall and needed a longer trimming pole/handle. This pruning saws pole is long enough however, when all the sections are together fiberglass pole is hard to handle. Do you use the pruning pole, I put the base against a post and literally hand over hand walk it up to vertical and then balance it until I get to the tree. You can't just lift it up the pole is too flexible, heavy and feels like it will break from the weight of the fiberglass sections. It does get the job done but you should have somebody film you using it, it's a hoot.
