Great effect on my hair (4C)! I absolutely love this product! Wow!! It was nice to have finally found a product that leaves my hair hydrated and moisturized. When it dries it doesn’t dry crunchy. The product is worth the price and the definition of the curls is undeniable!! I use the mousse as part of a three part mixture with another Design Essential product (Coconut & Moni Curl Defining Gelee) and a climate control (another brand) and apply to my hair and depending on how much time I want to spend on my hair, I do either finger coils, or I use the first 2-3 teeth of a fine tooth rat tail comb to create great curls on top, and the sponge for the sides and back. It’s amazing how the right products can transform your hair. And the curls last! This product is a must have! Great results! I’m loving my curls! I’m often asked if my hair has been texturized. The answer is, “Nope”, and I say, it’s a matter of finding the right products. It makes all the difference! I use the mousse about 2-3 a week for my sides and back, just to keep the curls looking fresh.

The media could not be loaded. The picture with my glasses on is my hair with no product. My hair is very prone to frizz and gets weighed down easily but this products works wonders. It defines my curls/waves so nicely ,makes my hair shine, creates a nice cast, doesn't make my hair feel stiff , smells wonderful, and doesn't smell too strong. LOVE IT!

It does give my curls definition, but, my hair does end up kind of dry/frizzy. I'm not sure if this is because of user error or if it's the product itself. It might be both. My hair is very low porosity so I don't need very much protein and this has hydrolyzed wheat protein in it. On top of that, I've heard that wheat protein is one of the heavier proteins. Please, don't quote me on that. Please research it yourself to be sure. But maybe the protein content is contributing to the dryness/frizziness of my hair. Or also, I'm just now learning to use a diffuser and sometimes it comes out frizzy - cause I'm still learning. Either way, my hair is very low porosity and doesn't need much protein, and this possibly has a heavy weight protein in it. So, maybe it's more for those whose hair needs the protein.Side note: I didn't know it had protein in it when I bought it. I wasn't really paying attention to that. Also, I think when I bought it, I didn't know enough about protein and it's interaction with lo porosity hair, so I didn't know what to look for when looking for products.I gave it 4 stars because while on one hand it didn't work for me, on the other, I don't completely blame the product because I think it's just not right for my hair type. If you have high porosity hair, it may work better for you.I think I will keep using it until it's gone just cause I don't like wasting money or product. But, I will finish off with a nice oil to counter-balance the frizz/dryness.

This is a good product it pops my curls and doesn't leave my hair with build up or feeling heavy. My hair feels soft with a lot of body..

I HAVE A RELAXER IN MY HAIR, BUT WHEN I DECIDE TO CHANGE THE LOOK OF MY HAIR, I USE THIS DESIGN MOUSSE. THIS MOUSE WORKS WONDERS! IT PROVIDES MY HAIR WITH "AMAZING-LOOKING CURLS." MY HAIR HAS SHINE AND GLOSS AND THE CURLS LOOK ORIGINAL AND NOT LIKE A JERI-CURL. WOW!THIS MOUSSE ON MY HAIR PROVIDES ME WITH CURLS THAT LASTS ALL DAY. TO FRESHEN UP THE LOOK, ALL I NEED TO DO IS APPLY A "LITTLE" MORE OF THIS DESIGN MOUSSE AND I AM READY TO GO. THIS MOUSSE IS NOT HEAVY AT ALL, BUT IS VERY LIGHTWEIGHT. THIS IS MY FIRST TIME TRYING THIS MOUSSE OR ANY MOUSSE FOR THAT MATTER, BUT I AM CONVINCED THAT THIS IS THE PRODUCT TO BUY!MY STYLIST MENTIONED THIS PRODUCT TO ME AND SHE WAS CORRECT. DESIGN MOUSSE DOES NOT LEAVE YOUR HAIR STICKY, DRY, OR DAMAGED LOOKING. YET, IT HAS YOUR HAIR VIBRANT, HEALTHY-LOOKING, LUSTUROUS, AND WELL MAINTAINED! YES, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. Ok - but not what I was searching for - doesn't "enhance" natural curl....I have naturally wavy hair that, with the right product, can become beautiful, long lasting, loose CURLS.For years I used ABBA Pure Curl Finnish. That product was sold and the new formula - ABBA Curl Finish - isn't at all like the original, but it will still kinda work.I have been searching for a product that works similarly to the original ABBA Pure Curl Finish. When used I used ABBA Pure Curl Finish on damp hair, I could either blow=dry with diffuser OR scrunch dry for curls. I cam still use the newer ABBA product, but it just is not a great at the original.I just tried this product. I used on damp hair and scrunched AND diffused dry. It looked great at first, but within 30 minutes the curls were falling out. I will not purchase again.It smelled fine, and my hair feels soft, but the advertising that says, "curl enhancement" isn't a definition I relate to in the context this product results. I certainly did not have "defined curls". What this product did was give an ok looking style (not too much volume with this product, either) and no curls at all within a couple of hours.I'll keep searching!

This product smells great and works well with my hair. The product is light and does not weigh down your hair.
