These were used to rewire my clothesline.

I liked the quality of this item.With the aid of a short length of wire attached to the end loop on this unit ... and theother end attached to a tension pulley on my riding lawnmower ... I was able to turn (tighten) the turnbuckle on the unit which pulled the pulley ... tightening the belt to a position where I could tightenthe adjustment bolt to keep the belt tight!

Ships from China. Took 17 days to arrive. They are a bit small (as described though), will upload a picture. I don't know if they are true stainless, will see when the rain hits them. The metal is better quality than what you might find in a tractor supply store (which are from china also). I think the ones in tractor supply are aluminum. I wonder if they sell bigger ones and are better quality as well. If the product is Chinese anyway, I don't see any harm in buying from the source except for slow shipping. That said I like to buy American whenever the CEOs bless us with American made products.

The media could not be loaded. I used the turnbuckles to suspend acoustic panels from the ceiling. I’ll be ordering 2 more packs of 5 next week for two more panels I need to suspend from the ceiling.

Exactly what I needed! Used to string 1/8" vinyl coated cable for hanging photo prints mounted on foam board. Attractive finish is shiny without distracting from the display. The adjustment of the piece allows for tensioning the cable for a tight and tidy look on the wall. Fully tightened the assembly is 3 7/8" long. It extends to a usable length of 5 1/2". I am using "usable length" as the overall length with the hooks loosened until the bottom of the threads are flush with the inside the 'shoulders.' Each shoulder covers 1/4" of thread, so it would be possible to get a bit more length, but that might weaken the connection. If you have never used one of these it works by allowing you to hook each end in place, the turn the central piece to tighten/shorten the distance between the hooks adding tension.

I bought these to redo my clothesline. I love the fact that if it sags I can easily tighten it up.

The turnbuckles were a recommended item when ordering the clothes drying posts.They were a bit too small and hard to use. I didn’t return them. I figure I can use them in another capacity.
