This is history in the making
A Chinese product that not only meets specifications, but exceeds them???Never in my lifetime did I think this would happenIf you’re new to Chinese tech shopping, they lie they lie like absolute crazy if it says five hours of runtime you’d be lucky to get half that it says 5000Mah Battery capacity it’s probably 2000 maxThis is the way it goes for all Chinese productsBUT NOT THIS ONEFirst of all, the construction is great not just for a Chinese product but for any. It feels very solid a little swing out solar panel mount latches tightly there’s no play or wiggling in anything. Nothing rattles The buttons are nice and stiff the rubbers of decent quality there’s no big gaps in any of the seams it sealed up nice. The fold down hook lays flat when it’s stowed away, stays in place and is decently thick quality construction. Also, the quarter inch screw adapter for tripods and stuff is a really really nice touch that I love this would work great for anybody who streams or shoots videos especially with adjustable color temperature. It’s nice and bright and puts out a good amount of light even on the lower settings would be excellent for emergenciesI bought this because of another review that mentioned the runtime was significantly longer than listed. I charged it up and Started a testThe product page advertises 80 hours on low and a 5200MAH Battery When I got it, it was three out of four LEDs on the battery charge indicator I hooked my USB power tester up and charged it and it took a little under 1000 mah Seeing as at the charge level displayed, it was 75% or over that tells me the batteries are right about what they say it is . Already unbelievableUPDATE:It looks like the other reviewer was right it only lost one of the battery indicator lights somewhere around the 80 hour mark. So it puts out on low about four times with its rated for I’m just gonna go ahead and abandon this test now because I do want to use it. And going through with this all the way will take weeks. It was only supposed to run for 80 hours. 72 hours came and went. The battery indicator was still showing a full charge. So yeah, this thing runs a really really long time. This thing would be great for emergencies hurricanes long power outages. This light will outlast the emergency guaranteedDefinitely buying another oneTLDR Don’t buy one by two. This is a surprisingly great product.

This is the one for bright light and solid design
The 1000 lumens provided by the LumiSun Collapsible Solar LED 5200mAh is great when you want it. I am buying a second one of these. I tried other lanterns that were shaped like a soup can but only delivered 300 lumens, too little for reading. Plus this lantern cycles through a total of 6 brightness levels AND it does so in bright light (white) or soft light (yellow) modes. Use the 'M'ode button to choose bright or soft, then the '0/1' Power button to cycle through the brightness levels. The compact size and rubberized construction packs well and safely in a backpack, suitcase, or even a pocket. The 4-level battery charge indicator helps immensely to know if you'll have sufficient battery power when you need it. For charging the battery, solar charging and USB-C charging makes it versatile. Output to charge a cell phone or other device is included. The hinge that opens the solar panel surfaces is very solid, and the strong lock that keeps the panel from swinging open by accident is a big plus. The only questionable part of this design is the quarter-inch bolt adapter for mounting this on a stand such as a tripod, which typically is not readily available, though as the lantern sits very solidly on a flat surface I will probably never need the mount. There is a half-ring that swivels out which could facilitate hanging the lantern on a small limb or twig while camping or other such small protrusion, but it will be difficult to aim it any specific direction. Something "nice to have" would be a compartment in which to store the 18 to 20-inch included charging cable.Overall, a terrific design, a well-built product, strong light, versatility, and a low price. I would recommend this to friends and family.

Great Camping Light with Nice Features
This camping lantern has some really nice features that put it above many other lights I've seen. It works well as a standard light for your camping area, and it has a rechargeable battery so there's no need to worry about disposable batteries. It has a hanger for attaching to the inside of a tent or there is a mounting hole for attaching to a tripod. It has several different lighting modes with different levels and colors of light. One feature that I was really excited about was that it has solar charging. I tested this and found it to be very slow. I let it charge for about 5 hours in a sunny with slight overcast day and while I could see the charge indicator that it was working, the charge level did not change at all during that period of time. I'm guessing it would take much longer to get any kind of decent charge from solar charging. Maybe if you lost power for several days and this was the only way to charge, it could be beneficial. In most cases though, I don't think it's practical to use the solar charging feature. A USB-C cable worked much better and had it charged up in no time. Overall, I do really like this light and would recommend it for camping or just keeping for emergencies.

Great Lantern
This is a great camping lantern, or emergency lamp. It charges with solar or USB. It’s compact and a great size. It has several brightness modes and a red light. Has a built in hook on top to hang in a tent or in your home. I’ve bought two. I recommend this Solar USB lamp.

Great light with a long lasting battery
It has multiple light settings, white, soft white, and red. Plus different dimness and flashing for each. On the lower setting (night light for the kids) it lasted 8 hours per night for 4 days and still had charge left over. This is a great buy!
