Ceramic Animals: A Pottery Photobook For Your Next Handbuilding Project Idea

This book is EXACTLY what it says it is: a “PHOTObook for your next Handbuilding Project IDEA” (capitalization added for emphasis). It would be perfect for beginners or for high- & middle- school teachers to use to give kids an idea of what can be done.As this is a photobook (as stated on the cover) there are NO instructions, or any words at all, accompanying the photos.The only thing I don’t like is that this book does not credit the potters/ceramists who made the figures in the photos. There is no author listed, and there are multiple different styles shape- & glaze-wise, leading me to believe the pottery is from different artists. It is important to credit artists. Not doing so constitutes theft of intellectual property. There are no disclaimers, or any words at all, indicating that the artists gave their permission to publish the images. There is no publishing information whatsoever other than it was made in the USA (see last photo).

There are NO how to notes in this book. It is just a small book with lots of pictures that you can get with a google search. I would return it but it’s a hassle. Certainly not worth $13.

This book was all pictures and no words or instructions or tips to make. The pieces are cute but I would appreciate some hints on how to make. Not even any artists names. Not impressed at all.

It was my own fault that I was surprised it is clearly marked as what it is. This book is not a how to book but and inspiration book. I am a hand builder and keep ending up making animals so I wanted to get some tips but that’s not what this is for. Furthermore when I got the package I was like “no way this is a whole book. It is a very short book. At first I was disappointed until I opened it. But this artists work is so cute and so inspirational. And it has a place on my pottery book shelf as an inspiration book to flip through or even just to get some happy feelings.Sad monkey was so adorable and I wish he was mine.Make sure you read the description instead of making assumptions. Short photo book of ceramic animals.Very very cute ones. Well glazed.

Hear me out!!!! My bad for not actually reading the details. I hit purchase before even looking at the reviews. The book is tiny but so adorable I couldn’t be mad at myself or the fact that it wasn’t what a how to build a cute bunny and other animals. It’s simply a cute book with cute adorable animals

What a rip off! Don't waste your money. Just pictures of manufactured ceramics. AI generated..... Shame on them.
