Great outdoor Radio
Great for outdoor activity! This was a gift for the family fisherman and he takes this portable radio on every fishing trip. Uses AAA batteries and has a decent battery life. Digital display maes it easy to see what station you are dialing to. This radio is also user friendly. Current user is 70 and navagates the buttons with ease!

Great little pocket radio for the money with digital presets, alarm, clock, etc. Would be even more useful if it had NOAA.

Very nice radio with digital tuning and presets
I really like this radio. The digital tuning with several presets makes finding your favorite stations easy. I tried this radio because I had a very difficult time tuning my other small radio to the station I wanted, especially with FM stations. The dial was just too sensitive. This new radio with digital tuning and presets makes it easy to find my stations. The sound is good and similar to other radios of this small size. I really don't have a use for the capability to set alarms, but it's a feature if you want it.

UPDATE 2/21/25, stopped working, all I get is static on all stations. POS
Update, 2/21/25, bought two of these radios, one continues to work fine, the other one stopped working. Very poor reception now even with antenna extended. All I get is static. No returns allowed after 90 days even though warranty paperwork says free replacement up to 365 days after purchase. Impossible to contact seller as they are located in China. Amazon customer service no help at all.Glad I bought a digital portable radio, so easy to tune, easy to set my presets, great sound, excellent little unit! Took me only a few minutes to get batteries loaded (3 AA, not included) and get my stations preset. Far superior to my 15 year old transister radio. Fits nicely in a shirt pocket! I really like this radio. I will check back in a few months to let people know how well it holds up and what kind of battery life to expect.

sound not so great even on local channels.should of bought a C.Crane but money constraints
The unit has a raspy sound...like it's not fully on frequency but I checked that with several channels...have brand new C.Crane earbuds and they are great...not that happy with radio but hey, I didn't pay that much for the little radio..so, I guess I should not complain you get what you pay for, right...Next time I will save up and purchase a C.Crane pocket Radio..My other C.Crane Pocket radio still works but, I gave it to a family member...
