Sloves a huge problem
This solves a huge problem that I have that I have with doors in mine and other houses. As the house ages and door hinges sag the latch no longer fits into the standard receptacle in the door frame. No matter how much you try and adjust it upwards downwards side to side it's still very difficult to get the bolt or door handle catch to slide into the metal latch. This unique invention by removing the backside allows you to have significantly more freedom of where you place it and the ability of the latch to engage it securely. If I hadn't found this, I would have had to invent it myself.

Easy effective time saver.
I have been installing strike plates for 40 years.Why didn’t I think of that??I have tried to adjust hundred of doors over the years because of the alignment issue. It’s too tight, not tight enough etc. One less side to get right makes it way simpler. I love it.
