Well made
My mom has been using this for 6 months now, without any problems. Expensive, but works great.

Great safety for the shower
This is a great invention for anyone who is a senior, or has the possibility of falling while showering. If there is a problem with it making a smooth slide, apply some WD40 & it will slide smoothly again.

Measure your area of use
The bench is sturdy and works the way it claims. The bench would be better if it were longer. My bathroom is tight and it is barely useable for my husband. I have to take the doors off the shower to give more leg room to move my husband’s legs into the shower. I also had to take off the seat back to give it more room.

Safe and easy to use!
Very comfortable and sturdy! The swivel feature is very convenient and easy to use. The red accents for buttons makes the functionality very easy to understand and increase the safety aspect. The size is perfect for my smaller apartment bathroom. Highly recommended!

DOESN'T SLIDE!! WORST PURCHASE EVER.
I am so sorry, but this is poorly made. It is less than four months since we bought this chair and couldn't use it for the first three months very much because my 91-year-old mother's health declined to such a degree she could not longer get to the shower. So we started to use it about a month ago for my sister who had broken her hip. The chair slid okay, but not great, so we WD-40d it and it was fine. However, it got more and more difficult to slide and WD-40 was not the fix. Her weight is only 135 pounds, so not the problem. Now the button to press to slide from one side to the other is broken!I don't think this was used more than a dozen times till it caused problems. And whoever put the button in between the person's legs should be forced to use that button themselves, or worse, forced to push it for someone else...reaching in between somebody's legs to hold a button and then push the seat.....really...Sorry, but do NOT waste your money. Find another chair.

Doesn't slide easy at all
The swivel chair and height are perfect but it's very hard to slide and is not the best for a disabled person and if your helping someone, it's very uncomfortable to push the knobe for it to slide between someones legs

gee reyno
The chair swivel so I can sit in chair and move safely into bath tub. It is sturdy and slides easily into position and locks when you are in tub.

Not for people with weak hand strength.
Not for people with weak hand strength. After a year of using this, I feel like I've given this a fair shake. Pros - It's a nice color, it slides well when lubricated (vaseline every few months). Cons - The seat makes it hard to clean your bottom because it has no cutout-- must use a portable bidet before the shower first, then rinse well in the shower. The biggest downside is the button for sliding the darn thing in the first place. Could not do it -- the friends that helped me with this were able to use it, but my hands are weak & couldn't use it, so they had to disable this feature first. Also, the day I bought this, the price had shot up by $100. The next day, it was down again. I contacted the seller several times, no response, just crickets. I contacted Amazon & was basically told, "so sad, too bad". Considering how much I was overcharged, I wish I'd spent some extra & just gotten a SolutionBased ShowerGlyde instead.
