Firstly, I actually really like the watch itself. The various functions work well and it seems quite durable. Haven't got a scratch on it. I do wish there was a little more customization, so far as what the buttons do and items on the menu. As a guy, I will NEVER need to track my monthly cycle. That stays on the watch menu forever, along with other features I don't use. The selection of exercises to choose from in the fitness tracking part are a bit silly. There's like 100 of them. Jump rope is not among them. However, if you need to track your heart rate during such strenuous exercises as golf, darts, bowling, driving, or standing, it's got you covered. After you've chosen an exercise, the phone screen displays a timer and your current heart rate. No real reason for your heart rate do be shown in small numbers, 80% of the screen isn't even being used. The silicone band doesn't keep the excess band in place at all. The extra band goes through one fixed loop, and then another movable loop. This second loop moves all over during the course of the day and you have to keep adjusting it. The app is overall pretty good, except it disconnects from the watch all the time. I think whenever you go to another room without your phone? Wouldn't be a big deal, except it doesn't reconnect on it's own. If you open the app, it will say connecting but it never will. You have to close the app and reopen it to reconnect. The remote camera shutter feature is buggy, and will not do like you think and work as a remote for your phone app. Instead, it works only with the camera feature within the Carbinox app. This app does not do video, by the way, so still photos only, and not with the camera app you want. In summary, this watch is much better than the cheap china watches I've owned before, but with somehow a less reliable app. Is it worth 3 times the cost of those? I'm still not sure. Note that an app or firmware update could possibly fix most of these issues, as the watch functionality is there (usability is not)

I’m a Quality Manager for petrochemical and pipeline industries. Second smartwatch other than an Apple. Was VERY skeptical and took 2 weeks of researching before I pulled the trigger on carbinox. NOT disappointed at all. Simple apps, not a bunch of extra crap. Exactly what i needed and wanted in a smartwatch. First week in and no connectivity issues, battery charged once after opening and 3 days in with 57% at moment. No complaints whatsoever. Recommend to anyone seeking simplicity and durability. Will update review down the road if something changes negatively.

I was looking for a smartwatch that was durable, and could handle all the stress i put on it for work. And I can honestly say I found it in the Vortex!I've had it for approximately 2 months. And I work wear it everyday for work, 50 to 60 hours a week of Blue Collar work and it still doesn't have a scratch in it yet. I absolutely love it. Plus I love all the features, and me sweating all day doesn't affect it since it's waterproof, lightweight and all the instruments for my health measurements are accurate and on point. I love the app quality through my phone and the relationship with notifications between my phone and watch. Overall, would definitely recommend!

I wouldn't classify it as a military watch, but nice watch. This watch is comfortable. Not bulky like other watches. Easy to see in all shades of light. Fairly easy to use. Battery last a long time. It has many different themes to choose from for customization. Great reminders to get up and stretch and how many daily steps accomplished. Built in flashlight (light isn't that bright, but useful). Nice alarm clock, easy to set. I'm a professional truck driver and this watch helps me daily.

Got the watch for a Father’s Day gift and I love it. Only charged the watch twice in almost a month! The only complaints I have is you cannot text with the watch and sometimes it doesn’t refresh the weather automatically. But overall it’s extremely durable and just a great watch. The band is a little small for someone with bigger wrist so I’d look into a bigger band if you are a big guy. Has a pretty loud speaker and is clear when making voice calls.
