When I saw that one of my favorite crocheters published a book, I RAN here to pre-order it. I knew that it was going to be comprehensive, easy-to-follow, and unique based on my experience with @allfromjade's previously written patterns.This book not only has a bunch of really cute animal patterns, but she provides many different options for you to customize each doll to be uniquely yours, whether it's choosing a different body design, using different types of yarn, etc. There are step-by-step instructions with clear written descriptions and pictures so that people of all abilities will be able to crochet these little amigurumi plushies. I love how accessible she made this book for people of all skill levels - learning a new skill, like crochet, can be intimidating, after all.I'm so happy that I ordered this book and I'm looking forward to seeing what different types of amigurumi friends I"ll be able to make. (In fact, I already have an order to make 6 different ones for an elementary school teacher to keep in her classroom!) 10/10 would recommend this book if you are a crocheter who wants to make cute amigurumi plushies.

I am loving this book so far! Can’t wait to make more little creatures. I love how customizable each one is and how simple the instructions are. The QR codes with ‘how to’ videos helped me tremendously. I do wish there were videos for color changing and how to end when sewing. I hope to see another crochet book by this author in the future!

So many options! I love that there are 5 different body styles to choose from. Directions are clear and easy to understand. QR codes are available with video tutorials for extra help. As a follower of Jade’s patterns for years before this book, I gotta say that Jade absolutely crushed it!

The stitch instructions each have a QR code for video instructions. It’s awesome if reading diagrams are hard, which as a beginner, I find they are. In any book.All the animals start with the same round head so the learning curve isn’t quite so steep either. And many cute animals are within reach once the round ball head is mastered.

I was so excited to get this book and it did not disappoint! It is brilliantly put together in a unique way in which you can mix and match the basic parts ie head, legs, arms, ears etc to make all the different animals. The possibilities are endless!It is very well illustrated with lots of helpful photos and plenty of tips to get you started with everything from the materials you need to techniques, stitches and how to do things like add eyes, change colors and even how to embroider eyes/faces.This book is great for both beginners and experienced crocheters. I’m happy to add it to my collection of favorite crochet amigurumi pattern books!

This book is great *if* you already have some experience and basic understanding of working Amigurumi projects. I have made Jade's individual patterns from Etsy so I am familiar with her pattern writing style and really enjoy creating these projects.The book is written so you can piece together projects which I think is great for fostering my own creativity.

I love that there are QR codes to video shorts showing a lot of the techniques. However, there are none for the color change options. I particularly wanted to see the invisible color change, but there is not a QR code for this. It would make it so much easier to understand, since a few patterns use this technique often ( like th zebra). Otherwise, a great purchase.

Such a great book, so much great advice, tricks and tips, everything you need in one place, I highly recommend it!
