Super easy to assemble and compact
I searched through all the racks I could find before I stumbled upon this one. The reviews convinced me to give it a shot. I needed something that could hold as much as possible in a small package and that was easy to assemble. If that's what you need, look no further! When I say it is easy to assemble, I really mean it. I do not like assembly, and I am not particularly good at it. I assembled this rack by myself, in a small space, with pets around, and I did it calmly, no cursing or breaking a sweat. Even when I discovered I made a mistake at the end, it was so easy to correct. When I connected the top half to the bottom half, the bottom half was facing backwards and I hadn't noticed until I was finished. It took me a couple of minutes to flip it. I did not secure it to the wall, as its in a corner and there is no chance it will get bumped. In a high traffic area, I recommend you secure it to the wall. As it stands, its sturdy enough. As other reviews are noted, the end stops as important. Otherwise, DVDs can fall. Blu rays not so much. The frame is lightweight and compact, as I previously mentioned. For holding about 150 DVD/bluray titles, it takes up little space. Its much smaller than I thought it would be. I only wish the wood was dark to go with my other furniture. But it looks nice anyway. The frame is thin, and the shelves are filled with media so the color is relatively unobtrusive. This rack has much higher capacity for storage for the price than any other competitor. You really can't go wrong with this. I'd get another one if I had somewhere to put it. I'd love to have one for each genre of films. This one holds my Criterion Collection titles, art house films, and there was even room for my Hammer horror titles. My eurohorror collection is crying out for one of these racks. The way the shelves incline makes it super easy to spot what you are looking for. This shelf organizes your media very efficiently. A+

Quality for the price
I am a fan of DVDs and video games, I had a smaller rack but I ended up needing to get something else to supplement all of my media. This is a great choice for the money. Yes, the wood is cheap, it is flimsy and could probably fall apart very easily. But, if you are looking for something that is going to hold a substantial amount of media, this could be something you are looking for.1. It has sliding dividers and I love it! This can be used to help hold media that doesn't go all the way to the end, or maybe you have video games or cds that begin on the rack. Either way, it is very useful. The only con to that is it will take away a slot for a dvd, but I love it.2. It isn't too big. It fit my dimensions very well and doesn't go up too high and look awkward.3. Box sets seems to be things people are having trouble with. However, I did not, my box sets fit well enough. Some cons:- Seems like it could be easily broken. You would definitely want to remove all the media if you are moving it around. I've shifted it some and do not trust it if I had to move it far (it's only around half full right now).

Pretty good DVD/game case
Recently I had tried to put all my DVDs in a huge DVD portfolio, and putting all my DVD cases in the attic. I ended up hating the setup and wanted to setup my DVDs on display again. My collection wouldn't fit on the one case I already had (part of the reason I had tried removing the cases), so I needed to get a new stand. Eventually I settled on this one because it looked most similar to the one I already had that I'd purchased long ago.The stand isn't too hard to put together. It takes some time, but it's not difficult, and the instructions were easy enough to follow. It holds as many DVDs as my larger case does, or just about, which is fantastic. If you need a DVD case, this one isn't bad.Unfortunately, there are a couple negatives.1. For one thing, the little arms that go on the rods in the back that you can use to hold your DVDs in place if you don't have a full row... they do not always stay in place. It has 5 shelves, and 1 of them is really sturdy and holds DVDs, 1 is ok but not great, and the other 3 slide around so easily that they do not help hold DVDs in on incomplete rows.2. There are little wooden pieces to go in the holes where the screws are to cover them up and fill the whole. At least half of them didn't fit properly. Some wouldn't go in, some would fall right out, half stayed put. Not a huge deal to me but it might matter to you.3. Last but not least, this shelf is VERY compact. There is just enough room for a whole DVD case on each row from top to bottom. Unfortunately, while building mine, I must have turned one of the screws too tight because the stand is very slightly lop-sided. This also isn't a big deal to me except that it makes part of the middle row NOT tall enough for a DVD case anymore. If I can figure out the problematic screw(s), I might be able to loosen them and get use of that space back. For now, I'm put Blu-Ray cases there instead, but it's right in the middle of all my DVDs and isn't how I wanted it setup. If you just keep in mind you'll likely get what you pay for and aren't looking for anything showy, this may suit your needs. Just be mindful when you tighten up the screws to try to make sure the whole thing stays straight so you don't run into the problem I have.
