Interesting concept
I recently purchased this cordless jump rope. I like the concept of being able to jump rope in a small space without having to worry about tripping over the cord. However, it's not quite the same as using a traditional jump rope. My biggest concern is that the weighted balls might come loose and damage something or someone. Also, using this rope won't improve your coordination because there's no actual rope to deal with.

Almost Like Skipping Through A Field Of Daisies...But Indoors
I recently got my hands on the ACHDOFITS Cordless Jump Rope, and let me tell you, it's a pretty neat addition to my fitness gear. It’s cordless, so you don't have to worry about whipping your legs or the furniture, which is a huge plus if you're as clumsy as I am.The jump rope comes with three handy functions: a countdown, a count-up, and a timer, making it easy to track your workout progress or set goals. The digital display on one of the handles is straightforward and doesn't require a degree in rocket science to understand, plus it's rechargeable via USB-C—very 21st century. The weight of the handles provides a decent arm workout, adding a nice layer of resistance to your jumping spree. It’s not just about your legs, folks. Your arms get in on the action too, making it a more full-body workout than you might expect. If I had to nitpick, and I mean really search for a downside, it's that sometimes you just miss the feeling of an actual rope whipping through the air. But that's a small price to pay for the convenience of being able to use it just about anywhere without accidentally breaking a vase or two.Rating: 4 out of 5 stars. It’s a solid piece of workout equipment that does what it promises, with just a tiny room for improvement. Would recommend to anyone looking to spice up their fitness routine without turning their living room into a hazard zone.

Great for small spaces
Really great for small spaces. Feels the same as using a jump rope and I don’t have to worry about if I have enough space behind and in front of me.

I mean, it takes some getting used to this Cordless Jump Rope
Call it user error, but I'm not sure this is cut out for me or my kids. None of us could understand why you wouldn't want to just use a full on rope with a built in counter, but we had to try. It's feels more like a fighting weapon than a piece of gym equipment. (Maybe I've watched too many kung-fu you movies) The action of moving the handles, not seeing a rope, not sure if you should jump or not just feels weird.I'm knocking off 2 stars because 1) There is no charging brick, just a USB cable. 2) The balls don't stay put and you need to check them before each use to make sure they are secure. We had one go flying off and nearly take out our little dog.

Smart jump rope
This cordless jump rope is pretty nifty. It comes with a charging cable (but not a brick, of course!) and you only have to charge the side that has the digital readout. Mine was fully charged, so after a quick setup, I was ready to jump. The jump count was accurate and you can choose to count up or count down from 200. It will also track how long you’ve been jumping or you can have it count down from 1 min. If you choose the countdown option (time or jumps), the handle vibrates when you reach your goal. The weighted balls swing around smoothly on the handle, and I found the experience comfortable enough. It is nice to not have to worry about the ceiling height or about getting tangled in the rope.I have one complaint: when I threaded the cord through the holes in the handle, the instructions stated to place a cap on the end of the cord (presumably to keep the cord from working its way back out). Mine didn’t come with these caps, so I have some concern that the weighted balls will go flying off. It didn’t happen during my jumping or when my husband tried them, but I’m trying to be careful to check them before each workout.

Fantastic for those who don't have room to actually jump rope
I got these because I like jumping rope for cardio, but I do this in my basement gym where there's a low ceiling. I can jump but if I use a rope, that pesky ceiling gets in the way every stinkin' time! Using these, I get the feeling of jumping rope without the rope - the weights at the end of the handles mimic the feeling of a swinging rope and they do an amazing job at it. They aren't heavy, but you feel the swirl in the handles, and if you didn't know better, you'd swear you ARE jumping rope. One feature I really like about this set is that you can set a timer that helps you maintain your jumping for a set period of time. I also like that it has a counter that tells you how many times you jumped. This information is displayed on a small clear LED screen in one of the handles. It's super helpful if you're the type that likes to manage the workouts and timing and such. The handle is rechargeable via a provided USB cable - you have everything you need to get started. This is a great value for the money - if you're in need of a jump rope device to use without the rope (no more tripping!), then this is an excellent consideration!
