This is a fine product. Using it to mount my Raymarine chartplotter on my trawler flybridge.

Seems very sturdy
My cockpit is tight and I needed a quality mount for a Garmin Vivid 5+. Used 10-24*1" stainless bolts and nylon lock nuts to secure the bracket to the mounting plate, 12-24*3/4" stainless screws with lock washers for the base plate into fiberglass.I genuinely expected the mount and display to sway or give but it feels very secure. No concerns about the sturdiness over wake.I only gave 4 out of 5 stars because the ball and socket design barely limits certain angles. I got pretty close to exactly where I want, but would have preferred another inch or so of range.

Great mount for up to 9 inch graphs.
bought this mount for our new Humminbird explore 9 inch graphs. Works very well. I probably won’t trust it with a 12 inch though, as I believe it would start to drift with this long of an arm. Especially when you’re out on waves. Overall, the build quality is amazing.
